The fragrance-free formula is a big plus, especially for those sensitive to scents or particular about fragrances. When I first saw the package with 'B5' prominently displayed, it reminded me of the over-the-counter cream I often used when raising my child. I know B5, or panthenol, is used in skincare to boost hydration. Contrary to my expectations of a slippery or greasy texture, the consistency was just right - neither too thick nor too runny, and surprisingly non-greasy. The 50ml size, similar to a hand cream, makes it perfect for those who need frequent hydration on-the-go, suitable for both children and adults. I've been using it as a hand cream myself. Being fragrance-free is a huge advantage, as I've found many hand creams either too sticky or lacking in moisture while overcompensating with strong scents. This has made me quite particular about hand creams lately...
ConsI have oily skin. Even in winter, I dislike heavy textures and prefer a fresh feel, so I needed to test the application. Honestly, I only applied it to my face once. It wasn't as heavy or slippery as I expected, but when I woke up, my face was excessively oily. While one use didn't cause any immediate issues, I've noticed that products containing shea butter tend to create small, whitish sebum-like bumps on my skin over time. Some ingredients that are effective in cleansers can be pore-clogging when used in moisturizers, leading to rapid sebum buildup. It's not so much a flaw in the product, but rather that certain ingredients stimulate excessive sebum production for me. Unfortunately, this means I won't be using it on my face, which is disappointing.
TipRemember, it doesn't have to be used solely on the face. Try it as a hand cream on areas like the back of your hands where sebum isn't produced. The fragrance-free formula is perfect when eating, as you won't taste the scent of your hand cream. It provides excellent hydration without the thick, greasy feel of some other brands. The size is ideal for carrying around. It feels like using a high-end hand cream (I checked, and it's just slightly over 30,000 won at the lowest price).
