  Pros

  It feels lightweight, which is great. There's no stickiness or pilling, and it creates a nice, thin moisturizing barrier that provides decent hydration. After application, my skin feels soft and smooth. I expected a texture similar to Bepanthen due to the dexpanthenol content, but while it's slightly thicker than a regular emulsion, it applies smoothly without feeling heavy.

  Cons

  I tried it on both myself and my baby. As someone with dehydrated skin, I wish it provided more moisture along with its hydrating properties, but it doesn't. I also experienced slight itching upon application. Nothing turned red, but it felt like the itchiness you get when a scab is forming. The lack of hydration meant that after a short while, the skin around my nose became rough like dead skin cells and felt itchy, which was disappointing. For my baby, who has very dry skin, this wasn't moisturizing enough. Even Atopalm's panthenol products provide insufficient hydration for us. In conclusion, it lacks hydration and only provides a slight oily protective layer, so its moisturizing power seems a bit weak. It might be too light for harsh winter weather, but could work well during milder seasons.

  Tip

  I think it would work better if applied over a generous layer of hydrating essence. The emulsion texture seems to have a synergistic effect when it can lock in some moisture.
