  First off, it absorbs so well! The little granules inside make me feel like it's doing something extra good for my skin, so I slathered it on generously.

  🫐 This is a gentle cream that is easy to use and free of harmful ingredients. Although it is almost fragrance-free, when you sniff it closely, you can detect a very faint citrusy lemon scent. 🫐 The cream has a nice texture, and upon closer inspection, you can see tiny white granules that melt into the skin as soon as you apply it. 🫐 It's great to use on sensitive skin days, and after application, it doesn't leave an overly oily or lingering residue, just the right amount of hydration.

  Cons

  The meaning of leaving only the necessary moisture is extreme. It seems that it may be lacking in moisture for dry skin types. And the volume is small, so it seems to be used up quickly. It's like the volume of a portable hand cream.

  I've been using this Skin&Lab cream consistently since it first became available, and even though I switched to Real Barrier Extreme Cream for a while, I've come full circle back to Skin&Lab. In my opinion, it's the best value-for-money cream out there. It has these tiny particles that make it incredibly smooth and moisturizing when you apply it, and the effects last for ages. The gentle ingredients make it an unbeatable choice for a repair cream. I've been using it since the first generation, and now it's even more nourishing with a creamier texture. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, this is my go-to finishing cream. Even when my skin became sensitive due to using certain devices, I could rely on this alone. It's so gentle and hydrating that even if I just apply this before bed, my skin stays moisturized until it's time for makeup the next day. You can use it year-round, and I highly recommend it for combination dehydrated skin. There aren't many creams that balance oil and moisture this well. Compared to Real Barrier, the main difference is the texture. Real Barrier is thicker, like Greek yogurt, which suits dry skin better. Skin&Lab works great for combination dehydrated, normal, and even slightly oily skin. Plus, it's half the price of Real Barrier, so instead of splurging on expensive repair creams like La Roche-Posay, this is more than sufficient for great value.

  Cons

  There's not really anything to complain about. If I had to nitpick, I'd say you need to be careful with the amount you use before applying makeup. If you get it on your makeup puff, you'll always be using a damp puff, and it can attract dust. If you're going to use it before makeup, use a tiny amount and then apply your makeup with a puff on top to minimize dust sticking. If you don't use cream before makeup, there's absolutely nothing to dislike about this product.

  Tip

  This cream works well with any toner, ampoule, or serum. It's so versatile that you can pair it with anything. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, when I'm feeling lazy with skincare, I just pat on toner twice and apply this cream. On really lazy days, I just use this cream alone before bed, and it's still enough to keep my skin hydrated for a long time! You can use this cream all year round without any issues.

  I was looking for a lightweight barrier cream and decided to try this one due to its great ingredients list. Unlike most barrier creams that typically contain pore-clogging ingredients, this one doesn't - which is fantastic! Compared to other barrier creams, it applies lightly and moisturizes well. It does have small particles in it, but they're not bothersome and absorb nicely if you apply it properly. I didn't realize it was from the same brand as the ampoule I received as part of The Hwahae Testers, but using them together has been even better!

  Cons

  I'm not sure if the particles in the cream were really necessary - that's my only slight disappointment.

  Tip

  For winter, it's good to apply a bit more generously for extra protection.

  I found the cream texture I was looking for, so I bought another full-size product! It's not too runny, nor is it as thick as those barrier creams. I've been using it well both morning and evening. You can feel tiny particles, but they melt when you rub them in. I like that they're much smaller than the particles in other brands' barrier creams. Even a small amount is quite effective!

  There's nothing to complain about! Really, nothing at all. At first, I thought maybe it absorbed a bit slowly, but I realized you just need to take your time and gently massage it in while applying.
