Great coverage and longevity, with minimal breakdown. It has a nice matte finish. I can't really think of any downsides. This is the most satisfying cushion foundation I've tried. - a0**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 19, 2024
The coverage is medium to high, and it lasts quite long. The shade 23 has a slightly darker tone, and the fragrance is pleasantly subtle. Above all, the packaging is absolutely my style! I can't really think of any downsides while using this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 30, 2022
☆True 23 shade for large pores and oily-combination skin 1. Beautiful color even on darker skin tones. It may look yellowish when applied only on the arm, but it's great that they considered how deeper skin tones are affected not just by lightness but also by saturation. The slight olive undertone works well. 2. The case is really pretty and compact, making it great for on-the-go. 3. Despite its moisturizing texture, it adheres well to the skin. I was surprised by how quickly it sets. 4. The coverage is just right. It even covers pores effectively. 1. Blending wasn't easy. I've tried many cushions, and this one, along with Too Cool For School, is difficult to blend. Like Clio's cushion, you need to control the amount carefully. If you use less, it becomes hard to blend, and if you use more, it starts to look cakey, which isn't my style. 2. Excessive oil production. Due to its good coverage, it seems to trap oil, making my nose look extremely shiny. It's not that the oil has wiped off the product, but rather the oil seems to be trapped within the particles, creating a waterproof effect. (This would likely transfer and smudge if wearing a mask.) This is a very concerning sign because: >> For those with oily skin and large pores, oil-related blemishes are common. As soon as I noticed the second issue, I realized my mistake, but it was too late. That night, I developed symptoms of comedogenic acne and contact dermatitis. If you have skin that tends to produce a lot of oil and is prone to oil-related blemishes, you might want to think twice about using this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 25, 2022
First, let me share my skin type: I have dry skin with a shade 22 and was diagnosed as a summer cool tone. As you can see in the before photo, my skin was so dry that flaky dead skin cells were visible around my mouth. ✅ Texture: Since this product is skin-fit, when I applied it to the back of my hand, it spread well but seemed to set and dry within seconds. It feels like it adheres to the skin, but you need to blend it quickly. I recommend applying it in sections - cheeks → forehead → chin → nose - rather than all over at once to avoid patchiness. ✅ Color: It's slightly darker than shade 22. As a summer cool tone, I usually need products with a pink base, but this one feels like it has just a hint of pink in a predominantly yellow base, which was great for covering redness. ✅ Other positives: Great for minimizing pores, applies thinly, and has a lovely scent. Recommended for: 1. Those who are shade 22 but find 23 too dark and 21 too light, leaving their face looking disconnected from their neck. 2. Anyone who loves a natural coverage and ultra-thin skin-like finish. 3. Summer cool tones looking to neutralize redness. 4. Dry to combination skin types. Longevity: It does transfer when wearing a mask. ✖Not recommended for✖ 1. Obviously not for those who are shade 21 2. Shade 22 individuals who prefer a brighter complexion 3. Extremely dry or oily skin types - al*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 29, 2021
✓ It's great for dry skin - keeps it moisturized without any drying effect. ✓ Creates a beautiful skin finish. ✓ The puff is incredibly soft. ✓ The compact size makes it easy to grip. ✓ I bought shade 21 Rose, and the color is truly lovely. ✓ If there are any marks on the face, gently patting with fingers helps blend it seamlessly. ✓ Occasionally, it can feel a bit cakey, but it's not severely noticeable. ✓ It tends to transfer onto masks quite a bit. Since Skin Fit doesn't provide a glow finish, pay some attention to your skincare routine. Also, given we're in the era of mask-wearing, setting it with powder will help it last longer. - mo********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 26, 2021
Wow... this cushion is so much better than a tinted moisturizer! I usually prefer shade 21, but since Banila Co's Rose tends to have a strong reddish tone... I tried shade 23, and it's not too dark at all. The color is truly beautiful. It absorbs into the skin instantly and doesn't feel dry, which is absolutely fantastic, honestly... I've tried all of Banila Co's previous cushions, but this one is my favorite by far. The application, coverage (especially for pores), and transfer resistance are all satisfying! The design is also top-notch.. It looks incredibly luxurious. It's a bit disappointing that the puff is just circular instead of teardrop-shaped.
