I was particularly impressed by how it doesn't pill after application. My skin tends to pill badly depending on its condition, but with this product, there was no pilling at all! It also has great staying power, and for a shade 23 cushion, I was pleased that it didn't have a yellowish tint.
ConsAfter reading other reviews, it seems many people share the same concerns. While this product has more pros than cons, I found the puff to be quite disappointing. The puff felt too thick when applying, and I got much better results using a Daiso puff. Also, the cushion case material is prone to staining. When I put it in my makeup pouch, it got quite messy. Fortunately, the stains are easy to clean off.
TipI recommend using your own puff if you have one that works well for you! Also, this product allows for beautiful skin expression even with a thin application, so I suggest spreading it thinly and then gently patting it in with the puff. For those with combination dehydrated skin, you don't need to set this cushion with powder! While it's a serum cushion, it's not overly hydrating.

ConsNever trust Instagram ads... After two hours, it completely fell apart, and it felt like my skin was rejecting the cushion formula. It also emphasized dead skin cells. While it's probably just my skin's issue, there were no dramatic effects like those shown in the advertisements.

If it weren't for those pesky blemishes, it would definitely tame any redness. It doesn't feel heavy or cakey, perfect for that 'no-makeup makeup' look. If that's what you're after, you absolutely need this in your life! Being vegan, it doesn't cause any skin irritation. As someone with dry skin who can't use cushions without hydration, this is a godsend. I've yet to find a cushion that compares - even after trying various foundations, nothing beats this!
ConsWhile Pannel might have just changed its case, I feel like the formula inside has changed a bit too. The previous version had more hydration, giving a beautiful glow. This one seems to do that less. However, there's still no cushion out there that's as lightweight and beautifully wears off like this one, so I can't help but stick with it.
TipApply it with light, gentle taps following your skin's texture! The shade 23 does run a bit lighter compared to other brands' cushions. If you're like me and want some highlighted areas, I highly recommend getting shade 21 as well. Use it for a second layer on areas that need brightening - like the inner parts of your face, under-eye area, chin, and a bit on the forehead!

ConsHowever, because it's so moisturizing, it tends to make makeup slide off and break down quickly. Also, for me, who usually finds most #23 shades too light, this Fanel shade was way too bright...

As a cushion nomad, I haven't found one good enough to settle down with yet.
ConsFor my combination dehydrated skin, it seemed to sit on top a bit. Also, it felt like it broke down easily.

It's genuinely a gentle product.
ConsIf you don't have a solid skincare base, this foundation falls apart terribly. It clings to the sides of the nose and looks a bit patchy on dry areas. I bought it because it claimed to cover acne scars completely, but that's not really the case. It only covers light freckles... Acne scars aren't perfectly concealed.
TipIt seems suitable for those with oily skin too.

ConsWhile it feels moisturizing and plump when applying, it transfers easily and doesn't spread thinly. Even the slightest touch leaves marks on my face... I went out after applying it on a windy day, and my hair left imprints. When it breaks down, it does so in a rather messy way.
TipTry to apply it as thinly as possible and finish with a setting spray or powder! Make sure to build a strong foundation in your skincare routine!

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThis is honestly the worst cushion I've ever used in my life... It's truly terrible. It settles into wrinkles and pores, breaks down horribly, and severely emphasizes dead skin cells.
ConsI guess we shouldn't trust Instagram ads after all... First off, despite being called a moisturizing cushion, it transfers onto masks 100%. Coverage? Not at all. Even when you pat it with the puff, it leaves puff marks, and even after setting with powder, it leaves fingerprints. It might work for those with good, dry skin, but if you have oily skin with acne scars like me, please, for the love of all that is holy, don't buy this. The way it breaks down is just disgusting! It mixes with oil and becomes a mess... I had to touch up every 3 hours. The color is also too light, so it doesn't cover anything at all, not even pores. For this price, you're better off buying a Banila Co cushion... I even got more blemishes after using this. Seriously, don't buy it, just don't...
TipPro tip: Don't buy it. Will I repurchase? Absolutely not.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsIt's lightweight. My skin feels comfortable, probably because it causes minimal irritation. With a good skincare routine, it doesn't feel too drying. I bought shade 21, which is a bit light, but it settles nicely after a while. The subtle glow is also beautiful. I purchased this because I dislike foundation transferring onto my mask. If you apply a thin layer and give it time to absorb, it doesn't transfer much. It might leave a slight mark on the nose area of the mask, but I think that's unavoidable with the metal nose strip. (However, it does transfer with duck-bill shaped masks, probably due to constant friction.)
ConsThe coverage is really disappointing. I don't have blemishes or redness, but I do have dark spots. It doesn't conceal them well at all. I've seen YouTubers cover redness effectively with this, so maybe it's just good at hiding redness but not dark spots. When I first apply it, it's not great, so I try to build it up, which helps a tiny bit, but it's still not good. Even worse than the coverage is the longevity and how it breaks down. I'm not sure who said this has good staying power. I don't usually touch up my makeup, but after 4-5 hours, I tried to fix it, only to find my face looking a mess after work. When I didn't touch it up at all, I ended up with an unsightly mix of oil and foundation caked in my pores. I'm still using it because it doesn't transfer to my mask, but I absolutely won't repurchase this when it's finished. I switched to this from Age 20's because that transferred too much to my mask, but I think I'll go back to that and just use a setting spray or powder.
TipI didn't use powder because my skin is dry, but if you set it with powder, it should transfer even less.

It effectively conceals redness and blemishes, blending seamlessly with your complexion.
ConsWhile it's understandable that this product prioritizes coverage, and it does deliver on that front, it inevitably feels heavy and a bit thick on the skin. Despite claims of not settling into pores, if you have poor skin texture, it will cling to every imperfection. The worst part is how it performs with masks - it breaks down dramatically, transfers excessively, and requires constant touch-ups.
