I use this both as a thin layer and as a thick mask-like application, depending on my skin's needs. However, sometimes it causes blemishes depending on my skin condition. Given its high price, I feel it doesn't quite live up to its value.

I bought this soothing gel intending to use it as a mask. After cleansing at night, I apply my serum and then layer this on thickly like a mask. The next morning, my skin feels soft and hydrated. Unlike lightweight formulas that evaporate quickly, this gel has good moisturizing power despite its gel texture.
