I bought this soothing gel intending to use it as a mask. After cleansing at night, I apply my serum and then layer this on thickly like a mask. The next morning, my skin feels soft and hydrated. Unlike lightweight formulas that evaporate quickly, this gel has good moisturizing power despite its gel texture. I use this both as a thin layer and as a thick mask-like application, depending on my skin's needs. However, sometimes it causes blemishes depending on my skin condition. Given its high price, I feel it doesn't quite live up to its value. - hk***Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 31, 2025
I used this product on recommendation from my esthetician, and it was great for calming my skin. Unfortunately, it pilled when I applied it before makeup, which was disappointing. - bo*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 26, 2024
It absorbs smoothly without feeling sticky. For soothing the skin, it's great to keep it in the refrigerator and apply it cool. It might feel a bit drying. I recommend using it along with another moisturizer. - ek*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 22, 2024
Absorbs well and excellent for soothing red, sensitive skin prone to flushing and heat sensitivity (rosacea-prone skin). Also great for rapid calming after overall skin extraction. An unbeatable gel for use as a first-step mask. Despite claims of no stickiness, it feels somewhat sticky on my combination-oily skin. The immediate cooling effect is slightly lower compared to other gels (though it still provides skin-soothing benefits). I notice many people have changed their opinions after using this. I first encountered this gel while working at a beauty shop and it suits my skin perfectly - I still use it regularly. However, I never use it daily for skincare. Honestly, while the website suggests it can be used in place of essence, that may work for some, but it made my already oily skin even oilier and caused a few blemishes. This product seems ideal for those doing weekly or bi-weekly at-home skincare routines! I use it once a week in a routine of exfoliation, detox mask, toner, good quality ampoule + Inove Gel, 15 minutes of LED light therapy, and a cooling modeling mask. I've never experienced any blemishes or allergic reactions with this method. However, those with extremely sensitive skin (prone to allergies), seborrheic dermatitis, or adult acne should avoid this product. While most shops recommend it as an expensive, high-quality product, in my experience working there, it doesn't suit those skin types well. It tends to work best for those with generally good skin but deep dryness and a tendency for flushing. They saw the real benefits! I recommend testing a sample on your neck before purchasing. For those who find Inove Gel suitable: If you have flaky skin and severe dehydration, try applying it generously up to your neck once a week after cleansing. After 15-20 minutes, wipe it off with a damp sponge or warm compress, rinse with lukewarm water, then apply your regular skincare. The results are incredibly hydrating! - mi**********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinOct 9, 2024
Skin type: Sensitive, blemish-prone, combination dehydrated skin This is my first negative review, unfortunately. The red area in the photo is about to become a pustule - it's really large and hard. After getting a facial treatment at the esthetic salon using this product, I came home and noticed a couple of tiny bumps. They were so small that I thought they might have been there before. The salon gave me 17 samples, so I looked up reviews on Hwahae. The reviews weren't great, but I decided to try it on my chin morning and evening anyway. Within the same day - not even after a few days - a pustule appeared in an area where I rarely get them, along with some tiny bumps... My chin was completely clear before, and I'm so upset. Even my dermatologist said I had reached a stage where pustules shouldn't be forming anymore. The pustule is in that hard stage right before it fully forms, so I didn't notice it at first and applied the product all over my face. As soon as I realized, I washed it off immediately, but I'm really worried now. For those wanting to buy an esthetic gel, it's much better to go for Bison Gel, especially considering how expensive this one is... Don't buy this! I'm at a loss for how to get rid of this pustule... - dl******Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 1, 2024
It makes my skin incredibly hydrated and firm. Awesome! There's not really anything to complain about, but those with acne-prone skin might find it a bit irritating. - po****Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 15, 2024
In my personal opinion, this seems to be the top-rated gel for calming blemishes. To be honest, there's not much to complain about, but if I had to pick something, it's slightly sticky. - dn*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 8, 2024
I love how it feels when I apply a generous amount in the evening and follow up with a modeling mask - it absorbs completely into my skin! It tends to pill when applied under makeup, so I recommend using it before bedtime. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 2, 2024
Moisturizing and brightening without irritation. Great for sensitive skin after laser treatments. While the price is a bit high, it's reasonable considering the amount. Recommended. - rl********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 27, 2024
My skin was suffering from severe deep dryness, so I searched for solutions. I heard this product was popular with great reviews, so I tried samples of this and Laneige cream. Unfortunately, tiny bumps appeared all over my face! While I loved how it absorbed since I don't like greasy products, I'm sad it didn't suit my skin. The deep dryness remained unchanged, and I developed itchy, millet-like bumps. I don't have anything else to add.
