I stumbled upon this single-use exfoliating pack at Olive Young and decided to give it a try. It's now become a staple in my skincare routine. I'm desperately hoping they'll release a larger size! Using it just once a week makes my makeup apply beautifully and leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft. I'm really wishing for a larger size... Other than that, I can't think of any downsides. After rolling it on my face, I use the remaining granules on my elbows and heels for a final exfoliation. - ad*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJun 25, 2024
Dead skin cell removal/Smoother skin Before using, my skin felt slightly rough with noticeable dead skin cells, almost like a thick layer. After using, it became incredibly smooth, and my skin felt truly cleansed. When I gently massaged it at the end, there wasn't much irritation. Hydration With a texture like brown sugar mixed with honey, it sat on my skin like a mask, preventing moisture loss. I could feel the hydration working, and it seemed to absorb well too! Quantity It's the perfect amount for a single use. You can apply it thickly on your face, and I even had a bit left over to massage onto the back of my hands. I was surprised when I first used it because I felt a warming sensation on my face for 10 minutes after application. I've experienced this warmth with similar masks before without issues, so I wasn't too concerned, but it did catch me off guard at first! I realized this heat was probably helping to dissolve the sugar-like granules. Apply a soothing cream after cleansing for extra softness. - tn****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedApr 20, 2024
I snagged this at a great price during an Olive Young buy-one-get-one-free deal. It's super convenient as a wash-off mask - just apply and rinse with water. After use, my skin feels noticeably softer. It doesn't cause any blemishes and the texture is quite pleasant. I'm really satisfied with it. - ke******Combination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 22, 2022
I bought this during an Olive Young promotion and it was better than I expected. After leaving it on my skin for 10 minutes, I gently massaged it while cleansing, and my skin texture became so smooth. Remember, you need to be very gentle - don't rub too hard! The adhesive strip is really difficult to peel off. Other than that, I have no complaints about the product. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 2, 2022
It was just okay. I often use scrub masks in winter, and this single-use pack is great for travel or on-the-go. The scrub particles seem evenly distributed, but unfortunately, it doesn't provide powerful dead skin cell removal. - 27********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 19, 2022
No photo editing here! The scent isn't artificial - there's a subtle, pleasant hint of brown sugar. The texture is gritty with coarse brown sugar particles, and it's sticky like honey. As for effectiveness, when I apply cushion foundation, it noticeably doesn't cling to blackheads on my nose. Plus, my skin feels super soft afterwards! The downside is that when trying to remove the black sugar pack, the sugar granules just keep sticking around no matter how much I wipe. It was quite a struggle to wash it all off completely. Don't use a cleansing foam after this pack - gk*******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 11, 2022
The quantity is generous enough for about two uses. Compared to Skinfood's Black Sugar Scrub (the original 100g version for $10), this is much less irritating. It's a bit more intense than the 'Shrek scrub' though. After using it, I noticed that the dead skin cells on the surface were completely exfoliated, leaving my skin incredibly smooth. I'll probably pick up one when they're on a buy-one-get-one-free deal. There's not really anything to complain about, but if I had to nitpick, I wish they'd release a larger size. It might be more cost-effective to buy the Skinfood one instead of repeatedly purchasing this smaller version... - wo********Combination SkinRecommendedJun 27, 2022
Wow, this wash-off mask is incredibly sticky with noticeable sugar granules. It feels quite intense, if you know what I mean! There's something amusingly classic about it. However, given the abundance of coarse sugar particles, you should be careful when rinsing it off. Don't scrub too vigorously, as it might irritate your skin. Just gently wash it away~ As mentioned above, the coarse granules could potentially scratch your face if you rinse too aggressively. Also, the high viscosity makes it stretch when you scoop it out with your fingers. This means you might accidentally get it on other areas if you're not careful. But honestly, these aren't major drawbacks in my opinion! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinMay 5, 2022
I'm not really sure, to be honest! I've looked everywhere but can't seem to find anything positive to say. It feels like it's stripping away my skin barrier. I'm not sure if the granules are sugar or what, but they're quite harsh. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 3, 2021
It leaves your face feeling soft and smooth. The dead skin cell removal is definitely effective. When you use it, you need to tear open the package, but the adhesive on the tear-off part is so strong that it's difficult to open. Also, since it's a capsule pack, it creates plastic and vinyl waste. You're supposed to spread it all over your face and leave it for about 10 minutes, but I usually leave it on for about 20. While it's on, you can feel your dry skin becoming more comfortable. After that, wet your hands and gently roll it off while cleansing. Oh, and after applying it with your hands, use the remaining granules to rub your hands! They'll become super soft too.
