I stumbled upon this on sale at Olive Young and decided to grab it on a whim. I'm pleasantly surprised by how satisfied I am! First off, right after using it, my skin feels incredibly smooth and soft. When I peel off the mask, I notice it removes some peach fuzz and small sebum plugs. For me, the removal process wasn't painful at all - it felt refreshing and invigorating. However, I've seen reviews where some people found it painful... It seems the product might have been improved, or it could just be individual differences. It takes forever to dry! Even after 30 minutes, the center part still isn't fully dry. The first time I used it, I tried to remove it after 15 minutes and made a complete mess in the bathroom. The next time, even after waiting 30-40 minutes, it didn't come off in one piece. It seriously takes ages to dry completely. Also, the consistency is quite runny, making it challenging to apply with your hands. I bought a mask applicator from Daiso, which made it a bit easier. My method is to wait 30-40 minutes and then peel off the whole thing. For any remaining bits in the center, I gently pat them with the removed mask, and they stick to it. While it does take a long time to dry and can be a bit tricky to apply, I'm so impressed with how smooth my skin feels afterward that I'll probably stock up on this every time it's on sale! - dp******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 27, 2025
It hardens well, peels off easily, and effectively removes sebum. It's just all-around great, haha! There's a slight tightening sensation while it's on. Maybe because it's hardening? But it's good for reducing puffiness. - ki********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 15, 2025
When I applied it, it felt incredibly cool, giving a nice cooling effect. After it dried, my skin became so soft and smooth! My skin felt a bit dry after using it. Everything else about it was great though. - he*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 13, 2025
I've been buying this mask one by one during 1+1 sales, but this time I purchased the package deal! While the texture varies between mask types, this product has a rich, thick consistency that still absorbs well. It's a great value-for-money product at an affordable price~ By the way, the mask in the photo is a collaboration product with Chani! Due to its very thick consistency, it can be a bit challenging to wash off after use. Also, I didn't find the effects to be particularly impressive - I couldn't really tell if it was removing excess oil or improving my skin as claimed. So, I wouldn't recommend this to those looking for dramatic results! For an easier routine, especially for women, try applying this mask while waiting for your hair conditioner to work its magic, then rinse everything off together! - ji**********Combination SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 5, 2025
While there's a bit of irritation when peeling it off, there's hardly any residue left behind and it's really effective at removing dead skin cells It might be difficult to apply without a brush or tool, and it's a shame there's no larger size available. Other than that, I have no complaints and would repurchase! - rn********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsDec 1, 2024
My makeup applies beautifully the next day! After using it, my skin feels refreshed and it effectively removes excess sebum. I expected a thick texture, but was surprised to find it quite watery. Also, it's not easy to rinse off... It took quite a while to remove. - cm**********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresOct 10, 2024
I could visibly see the sebum being extracted, which gave me a satisfying sense of accomplishment Removing the pack was extremely irritating. My skin turned red and felt tingly, so I had to follow up with a modeling mask and aloe pack. The next day, I had even more blemishes. I really regret using it - I strongly advise against it if possible. I'll never use it again. Only those with healthy and resilient skin should consider using this product - bt******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 26, 2024
I've tried the oat yogurt and charcoal bowl packs. Despite their mini size, they seem to have enough product for multiple uses. They'd be perfect for travel or when you need a quick and easy application - just smooth it on with your hands and you're good to go. However, right after use, you can feel that the skin texture is improved. But it's quite harsh, and the next day my skin looks all red and irritated. It's very runny, so it applies quite thinly, making it difficult to peel off, and there's always some residue left behind. Also, if you accidentally get it in your eyes, it really stings... Personally, I don't think this product suits me well. - na********Dry SkinSep 20, 2024
The only positive aspect was the small size, which allows you to try it once and discard it if you don't like it. The formula is frustratingly thin, making it inconvenient to use. It doesn't dry well and is difficult to remove once applied, making this product truly problematic. Even after 30 minutes of drying time, it hadn't set completely. I tried to peel off the dry parts and wash off the rest, but it wouldn't come off easily and even clogged my pores. I had to scratch it off with my nails, which irritated my skin. It felt like I was washing my face for 15 minutes straight with the water running. Make sure to apply a thin layer. If you apply it too thick thinking you shouldn't waste the product, you might end up with a face covered in black residue because the mask won't dry properly. - hy*********Normal SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedSep 8, 2024
Oh my goodness, this is a game-changer! It's so addictive. After using it, blackheads just disappear. It feels like applying a nose pack all over. However, it's incredibly painful to remove. Absolutely avoid using it on your eyebrows... It seriously sticks to them like a tattoo and won't come off. It's quite painful, so you should only use it once every 1-2 weeks, but I can't resist and end up using it again after just 5 days.
