When you massage it in for about 2-3 minutes, you start to feel a cool, minty sensation. The fragrance is also reminiscent of a refreshing herbal scent that seems to enhance the cooling effect. Since it's a shampoo that's good for the scalp, it tends to make the hair feel a bit stiff. If you rinse the shampoo off after just 1 minute, you won't experience its unique cooling sensation.
