At first, I pumped out too much and felt it was hard to rinse off. Using about two pumps was just right, leaving my skin feeling refreshed yet moisturized after cleansing. - Unlike other products that can make skin feel dry right after toweling off, this camellia oil cleanser kept my skin feeling hydrated even as I sat down at my vanity. - The pale green hue of the box and bottle, along with the brown lettering, gives it a clean and sophisticated look. But what I love most is how gentle the ingredients are on my skin.
Cons- I was concerned that the rich texture might not clean my pores thoroughly, but fortunately, there was no residue after following up with foam cleanser. Still, I'm a bit worried about using just the oil cleanser alone... - While the ingredients are gentle, when I used a bit more to remove eye makeup, it stung my eyes terribly. I ended up in tears! Strange, since other reviews mentioned it was fine...
Tip- After massaging the oil, adding just a touch of water seemed to help it rinse off more effectively. - If you're wearing full makeup, double cleansing is a must! - For contact lens wearers, be careful with the amount you use around your eyes and be extra cautious when adding water during the rinse.

The scent isn't overpowering or strange either. The texture isn't watery, but rather a rich, thick oil. The best part is how refreshing and smooth it feels when rinsed off with water, leaving no residue behind.
ConsSince it's a thick oil rather than a thin one, it feels a bit stiff when massaging. This means I end up using more product and massaging more vigorously. Unfortunately, I don't feel any sensation of blackheads, whiteheads, or other impurities coming out as little granules while massaging.
TipI use this for double cleansing. However, it feels so clean and refreshing after rinsing with water that you might not even need a second cleanse. There's absolutely no oily residue left behind.

I have sensitive skin, but I've been using it without any issues.
ConsWhile all oils tend to be a bit sticky, I find the texture of this one to be overly rich, which is disappointing.

It's gentle on the skin with no irritation. The cleansing effectiveness is great, thoroughly removing makeup on days I wear it.
ConsIt's a heavy, rich cleansing oil, so I don't use it daily. I only use it on days when I've applied heavy makeup.
TipFor blackhead removal, I roll it on in the morning before applying makeup. It seems to exfoliate dead skin cells, which helps my makeup go on smoothly.

Since I still needed to wear makeup, I inevitably kept getting blemishes. No matter how thoroughly I cleansed, whiteheads and small bumps wouldn't go away. But then! On a trip with a friend, I tried her cleansing oil by chance, and those pesky bumps disappeared! I could see whiteheads coming out easily, and after using the oil, my skin didn't feel greasy at all - just clean. So I decided to buy it, and it's truly become my holy grail oil! I love it so much.
ConsThe oil is a bit thick, so it doesn't spread as easily as some others.
TipMake sure to use enough of the product for it to glide on smoothly.

Skin type: Dry With winter approaching, my skin has become extremely dry. I usually feel the dryness even during cleansing. I've been using a cleansing water (pink Bioderma), wiping with two cotton pads, and it feels dry even when applying water to the second pad. Despite having dry skin, I also have acne. My skin is quite sensitive to products, but around the time I used this, my acne had subsided, leaving only scars. Spoiler alert: I didn't break out! 2. Texture and feel The scent is slightly medicinal, but intriguing. Once applied, you don't really notice it. I prefer this natural scent over added fragrances. It's a thick cleansing oil. I've tried various oils, but this one is particularly rich. It reminds me of Etude House's yellow cleansing oil. Due to its heavier consistency, it doesn't drip down your face, making it easy to apply and massage where needed. Remember, emulsification is key with oils! This one emulsifies well and is easy to use. 3. After use I always do a double cleanse. While this product doesn't leave a heavy residue, I still follow up with a second cleanser as I'm wary of leaving oil on my face. I've been using a low pH cleansing foam, which removes any remaining residue well. Most importantly, unlike when I use cleansing water, I don't feel any dryness at all after using this oil. I switched from oil to water cleansers due to acne, but this makes me want to go back to oils! I've used it every time I wore makeup for about two weeks, and no breakouts! 4. Cleansing effectiveness I don't wear heavy makeup, but to test its effectiveness, I tried removing my makeup with just this oil, no separate remover. It even removed my Kiss Me eyeliner well. However, I'd still recommend using a separate eye makeup remover before the oil cleanse, as putting oil directly on your eyes can be uncomfortable. When I use toner as the first step of my skincare routine after cleansing, I don't see any leftover makeup on the cotton pad.
Cons1. Because it's a thick oil, I felt like I used more product compared to other cleansers. 2. While I don't have severe blackheads on my nose, I didn't notice this product specifically helping to reduce them.
TipUsing a separate eye makeup remover is a must! Don't forget to emulsify the oil!

Incredibly hydrating As someone with combination dehydrated skin that gets super dry in winter, this cleansing oil significantly reduces deep dryness. While it doesn't eliminate it completely, it creates such a great moisture barrier that I often don't feel any tightness at all. 2. Cleansing effectiveness ★★★★ For a natural oil, its cleansing power is quite impressive. For heavy makeup days, I'd recommend using a separate remover for point makeup before using this. It works great for daily makeup removal though. While I'm not sure about its effectiveness on blackheads yet, it seems to dissolve shallow whiteheads well. Of course, results may vary! 3. Gentle formula I have super sensitive skin, but this cleansing oil has never caused any irritation. In fact, it seems to nourish my skin, making it feel healthier. However, remember that natural ingredients don't work for everyone, so always check the ingredient list for any potential sensitivities.
Cons1. Very rich texture This could be seen as both a pro and a con. I've gotten used to it over time, but new users might find themselves using more product than necessary. The rich formula can make it a bit tough to massage into the skin. 2. Price Considering the cost of natural camellia oil, I don't think it's overpriced. However, if you're not used to the rich texture and end up using too much, it might feel expensive.
Tip1. To make the application easier, I recommend removing point makeup with a generous amount of eye makeup remover on a cotton pad first, then immediately applying the cleansing oil. This makes it a bit more fluid and easier to massage. 2. Always cleanse with warm hands. If your palms are cold, the oil will feel more resistant when massaging. Also, take your time with the massage - it helps dissolve makeup more effectively.

Clean emulsification process and fresh finish. I've tried almost all drugstore cleansing oils (Ma**, The F***, Et***, currently using The F***), and this one has the freshest finish! 2. Deep cleansing possible (effective for removing whiteheads) Even though I have sensitive skin, I switched to cleansing oil because I thought it was the most effective for first cleansing. This one was surprisingly effective at removing whiteheads!!!! I hadn't noticed much with other products, but with this one, just 10 seconds of rolling reduced them significantly, and makeup applied better on my nose area! Also, I tried removing eye makeup (using Kiss Me mascara) without a separate remover, and it cleaned off completely.
ConsNothing in particular... (?) I have super sensitive skin, so when I change products, I often experience a burning sensation or tingling for a day or two, but I didn't have any of that with this. If I had to find something, compared to other products, it has a slightly thicker, more concentrated oil texture, so people might have different opinions on how it feels to use. And, since I received a sample, I didn't realize... but the price is not exactly budget-friendly for a drugstore product ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ (Honestly... while the performance makes me want to repurchase, the price doesn't appeal to me, that's the truth)
TipThe oil feels thicker compared to other products before emulsification, so opinions on the texture might vary, but the emulsification process and post-cleansing feel are really good! I recommend testing it on the back of your hand first before use!

It appears to be a bit larger than the average volume you'd find in typical drugstore brands.
ConsI have sensitive and dry skin! I originally used Sidmool's Calendula, but when I learned that Sandawha Oil was more affordable (considering volume and frequent discount coupons!), I decided to give it a try. However, I've gone back to using Calendula again. Firstly, the texture is extremely thick, which makes it feel like it doesn't rinse off completely with water. Secondly, it stings terribly if it gets in your eyes. How do you all remove eye makeup with this? On a positive note, after continued use, it seems I've adapted somewhat and the stinging has decreased. While I'm sure many people find this to be their holy grail product, unfortunately it just doesn't work well for me.
TipFor those who find it suits them well, I recommend looking for discount coupons to purchase it at a more affordable price.

Highly satisfied :)
ConsThere's a slightly greasy feeling, which is a bit inconvenient, but it's not a major issue.
