Strangely, whenever I use only the Dove Beauty Bar, my skin turns red and itchy. I've tried the Sensitive version from overseas, and the Cream, Shea Butter, Sensitive, and Pink versions sold domestically, but they all cause contact dermatitis. The Cream version was the least irritating, while the Shea Butter was the worst. 

People say it's moisturizing, but if you have deep dryness, you'll end up scratching your face as if it's tight. It doesn't cause blemishes, but my body starts itching from the moment I wash. Although it's often recommended by doctors for contact dermatitis, personally, it made my condition worse.

Great value for money, with the all-in-one feature being its biggest advantage, perfect for quick showers

This is a product I'd recommend to zero-waste beginners. It can become a bit soft and mushy in summer, so make sure to keep it dry. It's particularly great for use during the winter months.

Initially, I missed that squeaky-clean feeling after showering. Also, the soap's scent was quite strong when washing my face. If you're not a fan of Dove's signature fragrance or the residual feeling it leaves, this product might not be for you.

As I embarked on my zero-waste journey, I switched from shampoo and body wash to soap. I tried this product because it claimed to be an all-in-one solution. Using it as shampoo, I found it performed just as well as any other shampoo. While there was a slight stiffness to my hair, it wasn't noticeable after drying, possibly due to my oily scalp.

I just learned that the ingredients might not be the best, but it was still fine for my sensitive skin.

Don't use this if you have very oily skin. I have oily and sensitive skin, so I tried this product with shea butter, but it made my skin feel really rich. Also, it doesn't lather much and might feel like it's not rinsing off well, but I found it okay.

The hydration is truly excellent, and it feels gentle enough for sensitive skin without causing any issues. My skin is quite sensitive, but I experienced almost no blemishes.

Using a washcloth can help generate a bit more lather.
However, for sensitive skin, the lack of excessive foam may actually be better.

The lather is not very abundant.
If you prefer a rich, bubbly cleansing experience, this might not be the best choice for you.
The scent may be divisive, with some finding it akin to 'Yankee Candle'.

This soap is a lifesaver for my sensitive skin that struggles with acne, rosacea, and stubborn contact dermatitis. The scent is lovely, and it leaves my skin feeling clean without any tightness. Definitely a keeper!
