There really aren't any drawbacks, but if I had to find one, it's a bit annoying that you need to keep sharpening it. Also, it doesn't seem to apply particularly moisturizing.

After applying cushion foundation, I use this to swipe over areas that aren't fully covered. Then I gently pat it in with my fingers, and the coverage becomes flawless. Even blemishes that other concealers couldn't hide just... wow, they disappear with this!

Surprisingly, it's good for: 1. Covering blemishes and dark spots, 2. Defining brow and lip lines - it helps when my facial hair shadow makes me look ungroomed, 3. Especially great for those with dark circles, 4. Perfect for naturally covering darkness around the eyes for those with shadowy under-eye areas. The pencil stick concealer is great for a natural-looking cover-up in these situations.

I wish the shade was a bit darker. When I blend it out, it's slightly lighter than my natural skin tone. After applying a brightening moisturizer that evens my complexion, the concealer looks a bit dark in comparison. But I'm still using it regularly...
