When sharpening, don't insert it too deep. Stop sharpening when it's still a bit blunt. I thought mine was faulty and kept sharpening until my shade 1 became a stub. The plastic in the center of the cap can break the tip when you open it.

It's more suitable for freckles than larger areas of hyperpigmentation. The color comes out a bit yellower than expected, so I prefer using shade 1.

Wow, this concealer is the king of coverage! It's absolutely fantastic for hiding acne scars. If you have lots of blemishes, definitely use the pencil version. There are tip, pot, and pencil options available, but for acne marks, the pencil is the way to go for lightweight and natural-looking makeup. I've been wasting my time with the tip applicator all this while - what a revelation! I'm tempted to buy shade 1.5 too. Great for those with warm undertones in the 22-23 range.
