Great for spot-concealing specific areas with precision. It has a matte finish that lasts for a long time. I also use it to define my lip line. There's nothing to complain about. Its thin consistency makes it easy to use in delicate areas. - le*****Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 4, 2024
It's affordable and provides good coverage. Compared to other concealer pencils, I don't feel it's lacking much, yet the price is remarkably low. I'll likely keep using it. If I had to find a minor drawback, the coverage could be slightly better, and you need to sharpen it, but these aren't major issues. I use it to cover dark circles and blemishes. - go**********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 10, 2024
I prefer unscented or floral scents when it comes to makeup, so I really liked that this was fragrance-free. The way it absorbs is so good! After about 1 to 2 hours, almost all of the coverage disappeared, making me wonder why I even used a concealer. The staying power is a bit... It works really well in combination with The Saem's Triple Pot Concealer - 7s********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresAug 2, 2024
I bought this to cover dark circles. It might work well for those with lighter ones, but for panda eyes like mine, it's a bit tricky. It breaks so easily... Even when I'm careful, it snaps on its own. I think I've lost about a third of it already. If you sharpen it carefully, it won't break as easily. - ji********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 29, 2024
I was totally sold after hearing Leo J's recommendation, and now I'm using it down to the last drop! Why is it always sold out at Olive Young? I wish they had more stock of the 2.0 version. The staying power isn't that great though. - li*********Dry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsJun 27, 2024
The shade 21 has the perfect color that's neither too light nor too dark, making it just right for my complexion It crumbles and breaks easily, requiring frequent sharpening which reduces the amount of product - bb*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 12, 2024
Perfect for touch-ups on the go. It covers blemishes really well, even better than pot concealers for precise coverage. It's more suitable for freckles than larger areas of hyperpigmentation. The color comes out a bit yellower than expected, so I prefer using shade 1. When sharpening, don't insert it too deep. Stop sharpening when it's still a bit blunt. I thought mine was faulty and kept sharpening until my shade 1 became a stub. The plastic in the center of the cap can break the tip when you open it. - ju**********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 9, 2024
The coverage is decent. It applies incredibly smoothly. The color payoff is excellent. It doesn't cover dark spots (moles, hyperpigmentation) very well. The staying power is not great. I bought shade 2.0 because I heard concealer should be slightly darker for better coverage, but it's too dark for my shade 21 skin tone. - bb*******Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 6, 2024
Easy to use and affordable, yet the quality is quite good! Any chance of it breaking...? I haven't experienced that while using it. Since it's a solid concealer, blending the edges can be a bit challenging. I found it looked more natural when I lightly applied it to the surrounding areas as well. When I first do my makeup, I mainly use a liquid concealer, but I use this pencil for touch-ups. It's really convenient and great for touch-ups. I'd recommend it more for covering small blemishes rather than larger areas. - kb*****Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 17, 2024
I've tried most concealers out there due to my blemish-prone skin. Many of them break easily, have little product, and run out quickly even with minimal use. But this concealer is a game-changer! It's budget-friendly, comes with a generous amount of product, and doesn't break easily - which I love!! I was specifically looking for a pencil-type concealer, and I didn't find it inconvenient at all! The pen-style applicator allows for precise application on areas you want to cover, even in small spots. This prevents that cakey effect you sometimes get with concealers. It has a medium consistency - not too thick, not too light - which means it blends seamlessly for a natural skin look without being obvious. It applies smoothly without irritation, which is a big plus. If you don't have many blemishes or spots and you're aiming for that 'no-makeup makeup' look, this concealer could be perfect for you! The coverage wasn't as good as I hoped, which was disappointing. I have quite a few light spots on my skin, so I'm always on the lookout for darker shades of foundation or concealer. While this concealer did cover some spots, it missed others. I really wish they'd make a darker shade of this concealer!
