It's a product highly recommended by people around me...
ConsEven with a good skincare routine, I experienced severe deep dryness. It just didn't work for me!

The absorption isn't bad. Initially, there's a slight white cast due to the mineral filters, but it quickly becomes natural-looking over time. It gives a slight brightening effect.
ConsAlthough this product is marketed as a moisturizing mineral sunscreen, it's less hydrating than cream-type mineral sunscreens (for dry skin). It feels moisturizing when applied, but deep dryness sets in over time. Maybe it's because it's a cushion type? Seems like a limitation of mineral sunscreens. As time passes, it becomes dry, leading to patchiness and clumping. Update: I used it once and blemishes appeared the next day. When I tried it again later, the same thing happened, so it seems my skin doesn't agree with this product.

The texture isn't thick, and since it's a cushion, I highly recommend it for those who dislike getting product on their hands.
ConsOh, why did I buy this towards the end of summer? The deep dryness is no joke, and it makes my skin feel parched. For dry skin types, this is strictly a summer-only product...
TipThose with dry skin, make sure to buy this early next summer. The product itself is good.

ConsFirst off, maybe because it's a mineral sunscreen, if you don't do your skincare routine well, the deep dryness is severe. I used to wonder what deep dryness was, but now I can say, 'Ah, so this is what deep dryness feels like.'

At first, I thought it might be too white, but I loved how the brightening effect lasted over time.
Cons- I've occasionally felt some deep dryness when using light skincare and staying under air conditioning for too long. - The first 3-4 applications dispense well, but sometimes it's harder to get product after that. When this happens, I flip the cushion while changing the puff, and it works again! It would be nice if a consistent amount could be dispensed over a long period, rather than running out like regular cushions. - It would be great if refills were sold separately. - For skin with strong yellow undertones or slightly uneven complexion, the brightening effect of this product may not appear uniform at times. - I haven't tried many other sun cushions to compare, but I can't say I'm 100% certain about repurchasing.

I'm really satisfied with those aspects.
ConsI purchased this after seeing many reviews saying it wasn't sticky and was moisturizing, but it becomes incredibly drying as time passes. My skin feels tight even when I'm not moving. I might have some hope for using it in midsummer, but for now, unless I find another way to prevent dryness, I don't think I can use it. Also, unless you apply an extremely thin layer, you'll end up looking like a ghost, as another person mentioned. The term 'brightening moisturizer' doesn't seem appropriate; it's more like white chalk powder color. I knew it was a mineral sunscreen when I bought it, so the white cast is unavoidable, but I think the hydration aspect needs improvement.

When I use products that don't suit me, I immediately experience intense itching, tingling, and blemishes. I've always struggled with sunscreens. The thick ones leave me greasy and sticky, while the light ones dry me out. This product, however, feels instantly mattifying when applied. I love that it doesn't feel slippery, sticky, or greasy. It's fragrance-free, which is a plus for me. No blemishes or tingling sensation. It actually brightens my complexion. The price is budget-friendly too. The ingredients are gentle. As a dog owner, I try to avoid ingredients that are harmful to pets (like castor oil, avocado oil, macadamia oil, theobromine, propylene glycol, etc.). This product doesn't contain any of those. It's also free from other harmful ingredients, so I can use it with peace of mind.
ConsWhile the initial mattifying effect is nice, my face feels tight as time passes. When I apply makeup on top, the dryness becomes extreme. The dryness causes slight itching. It doesn't seem to work well with my snail essence - when I rub it in, it pills like dead skin cells. Ultimately, it doesn't suit my problematic skin. I think the tube type works better for me. The cushion type seems to absorb the essence and moisture I've already applied, making my skin even more dry and matte.
TipSince I failed to make this product work for me, I don't have any tips to share. I'm the one who needs to learn some tips.

It can be applied thinly and evenly without clumping in any areas. This was very useful for me, as my clumsy hands lack the skill to apply makeup thinly while covering pores. 2. You can apply additional layers without pilling, resulting in a clean application. My extremely dry skin always needs touch-ups, and this product didn't leave any traces of reapplication. 3. It provides a cooling effect that most sun care products don't offer. You can definitely feel that you've applied something. (Slightly exaggerating) It's like applying toner straight from the fridge! 4. The hydration lasts for a long time. I deliberately waited until I felt dryness, and it was still fine after 5 hours on my extremely dry skin, which is surprising!
Cons1. For extremely dry skin, additional moisturizing is still needed! Although it maintains hydration longer compared to other products, those with severe dehydration like me will still experience deep dryness and skin cracking. 2. If you're only using this sun cushion, be careful of the boundary between your face and neck! As I'm undergoing skin treatment, I pay extra attention to sun care when going out. If you apply multiple layers, you might end up with a ghostly pale complexion. That's on you! 3. You need ample storage space! Basic cushion (color cushion) + sun cushion = space for 2 cushions. If you prefer large bags, no problem, but if you like small bags... well, you can imagine. 4. Uneven drying? After using it diligently, the center of the cushion dries out while the edges remain moist. While this might be a common issue with cushions, it's disappointing to see this happen within two weeks of winning it as an event prize.
TipWhen touching up or correcting, dab some glycerin on the puff before application. This is a method I often use on areas that feel extremely dry (for me, that's the nasolabial folds and eye wrinkles) and where makeup tends to crack.

Previously, I was using a birch water sunscreen. I typically use sun cushions for additional UV protection after makeup or to prevent caking during touch-ups. To write a detailed review, I focused on makeup longevity and dryness when using this product as part of my pre-makeup routine. Makeup longevity: After applying makeup and wearing a mask all day at work, I checked the mirror. Apart from some creasing around the nose, there was no noticeable breakdown. White cast: Almost none. As you can see in the photos, it leaves a slightly rich feel with a nice glow. Blemishes: I'm prone to small bumps on my forehead when changing products or during hormonal cycles, but I experienced no adverse reactions.
ConsI tend to have severe deep dryness around my cheeks and mouth area. I usually apply separate ampoules and creams to my U-zone as it gets very dry after wearing a mask. This sun cushion doesn't provide enough hydration to solve the deep dryness when used under makeup. However! When I used the sun cushion for touch-ups, adding an extra layer of hydration, the dry feeling disappeared.
TipWhile I can't call this a pro tip as everyone's skin is different, for those feeling dryness in mask-covered areas, using this product for touch-ups could provide both UV protection and hydration in one go. Remember, masks don't block UV rays, so sunscreen is essential!

The convenience means I'll likely use it often.
ConsIf you don't establish a solid skincare routine to address deep dryness, your skin might feel dry after a while.
