It's a lightweight, basic essence. The fragrance is unscented, and the texture is just light. Not meaningfully light, just... light. It's an under-marketed product, which I can understand why.

After applying, there's a feeling of the skin texture becoming softer and smoother. At first, it was so watery I thought it would absorb instantly. But after a while, it became incredibly sticky... It's like that tacky feeling you get when sweat dries on your skin in summer. I wonder why they made the texture like this. The scent was initially apple-like, but after application, it smells like old black raspberries... It's just not great... I think I had too high expectations because it came from Banila Co.

I used it as an eye cream on my T-zone and as an essence on my U-zone. After about a month of use, my skin feels clearer. Texture: It has a runny, serum-like consistency. It absorbs very quickly. Scent: It has a cool, peachy fragrance that's quite refreshing. I enjoyed the cool sensation without any unpleasant smell. I tried the cream first, liked it, and then tried the essence - both were great. Packaging: It comes in a glass bottle with a plastic lid. This fragrance-free essence worked well as a toner substitute. After application, it left my skin feeling almost bouncy and supple. I didn't see significant results in terms of wrinkle improvement. As someone with dry skin, I prioritize hydration and richness, but this product didn't quite provide enough moisture to last all day. Given it's from Banila Co., I had higher expectations. I'm surprised there are no reviews for this product yet! I apply it as the first step in my routine, and it's incredible how well the subsequent products absorb after using this. I'm not a fan of wiping with cotton pads, so I generously apply it with my hands, pressing it into my skin. It absorbs instantly without feeling slippery. While this product alone doesn't completely eliminate deep dryness, when followed by an essence and cream, it feels like everything just drinks right into the skin. There are plenty of products out there that provide hydration, but I find this one particularly precious because it aids absorption and creates an excellent base for the rest of my skincare routine. It's truly unique in that aspect. As someone known among my friends for having super sensitive skin, I'm thrilled that this causes no irritation or blemishes whatsoever. It's like feeding your skin healthy food - you can feel it becoming healthier. I love that it's free from aromatic oils and stearic acid. I hope they keep this formula unchanged. Please never discontinue this product! The only downsides are that the container is a bit heavy and the price might be a concern for some. However, I believe that high-quality ingredients justify a higher price point, so I don't think it's unreasonable. It's also great to layer this product twice, patting it into the skin each time for extra absorption.
