Unlike Clab, which caused some eye irritation and tingling, I could apply Carol Frank without any discomfort. The formula is rich, but it seems to absorb well and maintains hydration for a long time. It really works well for me. When applying with a spatula, it tends to run a bit, so you need to quickly spread it on your face. It also feels a bit heavy after application. Still, I'm satisfied with this product. It's incredibly moisturizing and absorbs beautifully. I have dry skin, and this keeps me hydrated all day long. It tends to pill, so when I apply sunscreen over it, it rolls off. Might be better suited as a night cream only.
