This is perfect for me, especially now when my deep dryness concerns are intensifying. I bought the Clab Radiance for the same reason and compared the two by applying them generously. Unlike Clab, which caused some eye irritation and tingling, I could apply Carol Frank without any discomfort. The formula is rich, but it seems to absorb well and maintains hydration for a long time. It really works well for me. When applying with a spatula, it tends to run a bit, so you need to quickly spread it on your face. It also feels a bit heavy after application. Still, I'm satisfied with this product. If you apply it generously in the evening after work every two or three days, you'll notice less deep dryness in the morning. - da******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedSep 2, 2024
It's incredibly moisturizing and absorbs beautifully. I have dry skin, and this keeps me hydrated all day long. It tends to pill, so when I apply sunscreen over it, it rolls off. Might be better suited as a night cream only. - bi******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 25, 2024
When first applied, it feels moisturizing and the scent isn't overpowering - quite pleasant actually. The packaging is nice too. I tend to have oily or dry skin depending on my menstrual cycle, but this worked well for all phases. I've heard it's not great if applied too thickly, though I can't confirm that personally. However, I don't feel like it addresses deep dryness effectively. - ha*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 25, 2024
My mother-in-law gave this to me, and it's wonderfully moisturizing. As someone with dry skin, I feel less parched now. Applying makeup over it isn't feasible. It's best to apply it at night, let it absorb, and then sleep. Not suitable for use before makeup - ye*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 2, 2023
Recommended for those who love rich, creamy textures. Especially suitable for dry skin types - you'll likely adore this! If you have oily skin, applying too much might lead to blemishes. In summer, it can cause makeup to slide off and leave you looking shiny. For those with oily skin, I suggest using this as a nighttime moisturizer. - kk******Combination SkinRecommendedAug 28, 2023
My mom, who's really into cosmetics, ordered this from a home shopping channel and gave me one. It applies lightly but feels surprisingly substantial. My skin is generally good, so I wasn't sure if I'd notice a difference, but wow! On days I didn't use it, my skin felt noticeably tighter the next day. That's when I realized how great this cream really is. I had no idea it was this expensive... If I'd known, I would've used it more sparingly (haha). Highly recommended! It's a bit on the rich side, so I'm not sure it would suit someone with oily skin. The key is to apply it consistently! It feels too precious to use on the neck though. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 5, 2023
It absorbs well and since I apply it at night before bed, the absorption is quite good It's not suitable for wearing under makeup as it tends to pill quite a bit. However, that's not an issue since it's not meant to be used with makeup anyway I apply a generous amount in the evening, gently massage it in, and then go to sleep - se*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedJan 1, 2022
The generous size is perfect for slathering on. It's my first time trying a collagen cream, and while there is a bit of fragrance, it's not unpleasant. It absorbs well, leaving my skin very hydrated. It would also work great as an overnight mask. I've noticed that many cosmetics advertised as famous foreign brands actually contain quite a few potentially harmful ingredients according to Hwahae standards. Those with sensitive skin should be extra careful when purchasing. Even at home shopping prices, it's not particularly cheap. While I'm not sure about the value for the quantity, I have a feeling there are definitely better and more affordable options out there with better ingredients. It's best to apply generously in the evening as an overnight mask. For mornings, I'd recommend using a lighter application. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2021
I bought this after seeing it on a home shopping channel, and I'm glad I did! I applied it thickly like a mask. During the day, I used less than at night. It absorbs well into the skin. Even with my combination skin, it worked pretty well for me. The scent is lovely too. When used together with the Active Serum, it seems to improve skin elasticity and reduce wrinkles even more. With its 150ml size, you can use it generously and it'll still last a while. Pro tip: check Wemap or 11st when it's on home shopping - you might find it cheaper there! Usually my skin acts up during seasonal changes, but this time was different. A month after buying this product, I also got the Carol Frank Active Serum. On the third day of using them together, my skin went haywire. I'm not sure if it coincided with the usual seasonal reaction, but I experienced dryness, dead skin cells, and small blemishes. Even my neck, where I applied it, became rough. I stopped using both products and calmed my skin with sheet masks. After a week, I started using them again, and now it's okay. The dryness and flaking I can understand, but the small blemishes in every pore seem to be due to over-nourishment. If you're using it as a sleeping pack, you might want to keep your skincare routine simple beforehand. Too much nourishment could lead to blemishes.
