I tried out the VDL Lumilayer Correcting Powder! First off, it's not your typical powder - it's a correcting powder with a unique concept. It comes in four colors, each serving a specific purpose: Mint color helps with redness and blemishes, Serenity color evens skin tone and adds radiance, Lavender color corrects yellow undertones and adds transparency, and Rose Quartz color helps with dull skin and dark circles. This product combines the benefits of color correctors in powder form, perfect for the final step of your makeup routine to achieve smooth skin and increase skin transparency! I always thought using color correctors was essential for flawless base makeup, but it was challenging to apply multiple products on busy mornings. However, this powder form makes it convenient to use even when I'm in a rush. When applied, you can see a subtle shimmer that gives a brighter look! It's not just any powder - it has a subtle pearl effect that maximizes radiance, which I love. The puff is thick and soft, making application a pleasure. The powder also has a lovely scent that's hard to describe, but it's not overpowering like some cosmetics. I'm very satisfied with it! The design is sparkly, and having four colors in one compact makes it both functional and aesthetically pleasing. It's become one of my go-to items in my makeup pouch. I highly recommend this to anyone who found using separate correctors tedious. It's perfect for that final touch in your makeup routine! The only downside is that it's a bit tricky to control the amount of product. It's not that too much comes out, but rather it's hard to get the powder out. Shaking it sideways doesn't work, and even shaking it up and down doesn't help much. When some does come out, the powder tends to scatter to the sides. Perfect for adding a radiant finish to your makeup on days when you want to look extra glowing!

It's not only cost-effective but also great value for money. Moreover, it's perfect for my parents who have wrinkles - regular powders often settle into fine lines, but this one doesn't, which is fantastic! I wanted to use just one shade, but when I tried to open the plastic divider between the colors, it wouldn't budge. Nevertheless, I recommend this product as it allows for a much cleaner and more natural-looking complexion compared to other powders.
