I first received this as a gift from a friend before it was reformulated, and I've been buying it ever since. When I first used it, it was truly a game-changer. As a quick mask, the pad adhered perfectly to my skin, and my face would instantly glow. It did wonders for my complexion, which was incredibly satisfying. I was dealing with deep dryness at the time, but on days I used this quick mask, my skin felt much less parched. However, after the reformulation, while it might have improved for some, I found it a bit disappointing. It felt lighter on the skin. I'm not savvy with group buys, so I found it a bit pricey compared to other masks, and post-reformulation, I felt there might be other serums or pads that could replace it. I have a long commute, so I used it during that time. I preferred the pre-reformulation pads as I liked to leave them on for absorption, but I understand the new version might work better for others in different situations. Previously, I thought it might feel heavy for those with oily skin, but after the change, it seemed suitable for a wider range of skin types. Even though I used a few more bottles after the reformulation, I didn't feel the same satisfaction as before, so I gradually used it less. I think the current Abib pads might suit combination or oily skin types better than very dry skin, and they're still great for evening out skin texture. However, with many similar products now available at lower price points, I'm not sure about its competitiveness in the market. When using, the pads are incredibly thin and soaked in essence, so they're much better suited as a quick mask rather than for wiping. In terms of user experience for quick masks, these pads were truly the best I've ever tried. I've been using this product for years and it had always suited my skin well. However, after ordering and using these new pads, I started experiencing blemishes. My skin felt tingly and had a constant burning sensation. Then, the area under my eyes and eyelids started oozing, became red and swollen, and I developed a rash. Since I had been using this product consistently, I didn't realize it was the cause and thought it was an allergic reaction. I went to a dermatologist for two months, receiving steroid injections and taking medication. But there was no improvement, and the symptoms kept recurring. On a hunch, I stopped using this product, and my skin started to calm down. I wonder if the ingredients have changed? It used to be a product that worked so well for me. I had stocked up during group buys and sales, but now I can't use it anymore. What a waste! I'm struggling with facial swelling, oozing, and a rash.

No blemishes appeared, and it kept my skin hydrated. The reason it's not a perfect score is that after consistent use, I couldn't pinpoint any specific improvements or compelling reasons to highly recommend it. If this were as affordable as Daiso products, I'd absolutely recommend it. It's a good option for everyday, lightweight use. There are no real drawbacks. However, there are no significant advantages either. It's a decent daily item! Worth trying at least once. Morning: Use as an exfoliating toner Evening: Leave on as a mask for 10 minutes In the morning, after cleansing and using it as an exfoliating toner, the pad turns beige. This seems to indicate that a lot of impurities accumulate while sleeping. No blemishes No irritation Hydration: 5/5 It's among the top 3 pads I've ever used. The thin pads are packed with hydration, making them perfect to use before makeup. They help the makeup apply smoothly and look great! This is the best pad I've ever used. It's great that you can use it like a mask, and even just wiping leaves your skin feeling hydrated for a long time! I love that the pads are thin and soaked in essence. As someone with dry skin who's rarely satisfied with products, this one meets my expectations! While it can be a bit annoying to pick up each thin pad individually, you can actually use it like a mask, which is a plus. Since they tear easily, you can also stick them on your face to fit your facial contours for a customized mask experience.

I liked how soft it felt. - The pads are thin and moist, sticking well to the skin. I could even dry my hair right in front of a fan without them falling off. They really cool down the skin temperature, helping to calm intense redness. - I use them in the morning while drying my hair, and at night as the final step of my skincare routine. When used at night, I notice less oiliness the next day, so I mainly use them in the evening. - No additional blemishes or itching on the skin, so I'd recommend these for oily skin types prone to redness! - No real downsides, but they're thinner than I expected. The hydration is fantastic! These are my holy grail pads! I absolutely love them and highly recommend! There's nothing to complain about. These pads are amazing! They're thin, which is great, and their hydrating power is... words can't even describe how good they are! When your skin is dry, you can apply these all over your face!
