It's not like running water or a runny texture, but rather a perfectly refreshing consistency that's easy to apply! When you put it on, it feels incredibly cool and hydrating right away! It's not like those alcohol-based toners that evaporate quickly, but more like an essence-type toner that provides both hydration and barrier care after application! We know guys typically don't like applying multiple products, let alone even one properly! In summer, this one product gives you the effect of both a toner and essence - it's perfect! Just apply this and follow with sunscreen, and you're good to go! It seems to be a universally appealing product, so it would make a great gift too! There's honestly nothing to complain about. Except maybe the price being a bit on the higher side... haha For an extra boost, use it as a toner mask with cotton pads, then shave and dry your hair - by the time you're done, you've got yourself a hydrating mask treatment! - am*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 9, 2025
I use Rescue during the day and this little guy at night. When I use it, my skin feels great, but when I skip it, I notice my complexion isn't as nice. The Lab Series products generally seem to be on the pricier side. I suppose that's because they work so well, though it's tough on the wallet. - al**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 2, 2025
Zero irritation! My skin feels so smooth the next day, it's amazing. Perfect for super sensitive skin! There's nothing particularly disappointing. I think it's best to buy it when it's on sale. - ko**********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 20, 2025
I was worried about the higher price point, but it definitely lives up to its reputation. I switched from using a basic toner, and I'm glad I made the decision. Now I'm ready to invest more in my skincare routine. It's undeniably on the expensive side. It would be great if Hwahae could offer it at a more affordable price. - ma***Combination SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2025
I switched from the Water Emulsion to this one when I found it on sale for employees. I've been stocking up and using it since. While I can't say there's a huge difference from the Water Emulsion, the packaging feels more luxurious and it seems a bit more hydrating. The price is quite steep. The scent is even more masculine than the Water Emulsion, which isn't to my liking. - qk*****Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 30, 2025
Not sticky at all, which is great. Its liquid texture makes it easy to apply. However, it tends to drip when dispensing. I wish they'd redesign the dispenser opening. Too much product comes out at once, causing spillage. - sh*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedJan 13, 2025
As someone with dry skin who's been using this for about 5 years, I can confidently say it absorbs well and doesn't cause any blemishes. While everything else is great, the price point is a bit steep. It might be a little burdensome for some. - sa*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 19, 2024
Hydration: Deeply moisturizing Absorption: Absorbs instantly Texture: Flows like water I really wish they'd offer this in a pump or spray bottle. The current lid is frustrating, and too much product comes out at once. I transfer it to an empty spray bottle for use. - ki*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedOct 1, 2024
It was excellent for hydration. I used it without any major blemishes. It's already an expensive cosmetic product, but this one seems to be among the priciest. - be********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 18, 2024
It absorbs well and feels richer compared to the original blue Watery Emulsion, making it more suitable for fall and winter. For summer, I'd recommend the regular Watery Emulsion. The ever-increasing price each year is quite disappointing. It's hard to recommend based on the price-to-value ratio. I suggest purchasing it when it's on sale. If that's not possible, it might be best to choose based on what comes as gratis.
