Unlike other lip products that require careful application due to dead skin cells, this color lip balm is super convenient. You can just swipe it on quickly without a mirror when you're popping out or after eating or drinking coffee. It's not too pigmented even when applied generously, so I'd recommend it to those who prefer a natural look. The color payoff isn't very intense when applied to the lips, so the shade can vary depending on your natural lip color. I have fairly pale lips, and on me, it has a pinkish tint that doesn't suit me well. Being a color lip balm, it's inevitable that it doesn't last long. Also, while it feels moisturizing right after application, my lips start to feel a bit dry after about 30 minutes. The color looks natural even when applied to a bare face, without any awkwardness. It also has great staying power. It has more shimmer than expected, and I'm not sure about its hydrating properties. It holds up well in summer without melting and is easy to apply on bare skin, so it's really great. As an added bonus, I actually liked that it doesn't have a scent. In winter, it was a bit stiff, making application slightly uncomfortable... But that's about the only drawback I experienced.

While it doesn't have the intense color payoff of the trendy tinted lip balms, it gives a beautifully subtle and natural look that I really appreciate. Personally, I wish it came in a pot form, as it's challenging to use up every last bit of the product in its current packaging. I apply it to my lips first, then use the excess as a subtle blush. It looks so natural and lovely. Absolutely no problem for men to use. It doesn't leave a shiny finish, which is fantastic. The only downside is the price. It's really, really disappointing how expensive it is. The color payoff isn't too intense, so it doesn't look overly made-up. If you prefer subtle shades, this might be perfect for you. I also love the clean, minimalist design of the packaging. In winter, using this alone can leave your lips feeling dry. The color payoff is not too intense, giving a natural look. It would be great if they offered more shades. Nothing particularly bad, except the packaging is disproportionately large compared to the product size.

These days, I trust vegan products more, so I decided on Mixsoon. It's moisturizing and doesn't make his lips unnaturally red, which is great. My boyfriend mentioned that he's bothered by the red lip marks left on cups and dishes when eating. Unfortunately, it comes off too easily, which is a bit disappointing.
