I used to love the previous version before it was discontinued. After it disappeared, I tried other Clio pencils, but they smudged too much on my eyes, so I stopped using them. Then, while browsing Olive Young, I stumbled upon this product and decided to give it a try... and I'm so happy I did! It's great, except for one small issue. The pencil tip gets blunt quickly, which is a bit disappointing for someone like me who prefers a fine line. However, the color payoff is excellent, it's easy to fill in the waterline, and it's perfect for everyday use. Most importantly, it doesn't smudge much at all. For me, the most crucial aspect of an eyeliner is its ability to stay put, and this one really delivers. Of course, on days when I didn't control oil well and laughed a lot, it smudged a bit, but I consider that my fault! On important days, I apply a tiny bit of fixer with a cotton swab over the liner, and it truly doesn't budge. For daily wear, I just make sure to control oil with eyeshadow, apply the liner, and set the outer corners with more shadow. With this routine, it lasts at least 6 hours without any touch-ups, smudging, or fading. It's challenging to create a fine line as the tip gets blunt quickly. Occasionally, it can smudge if you don't control oil properly. Applying eyeshadow or a fixer over the liner seems to extend its longevity even further. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 15, 2024
I wasn't sure which brown shade would suit my eyes, so I ordered one that looked nice. I'm happy with this color and using it well. It's also easy to create a wing! It's a bit disappointing that it wears down quickly due to its thinness, so I go through it fast. I wish it had more product in it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 11, 2024
For someone like me who smiles so big my eyes disappear, the most crucial feature of an eyeliner is that it doesn't smudge!!!! This product absolutely delivers on that front. Among the pencil liners I've tried, this one seems to have the best staying power and smudge resistance. There was a time when I dreaded doing eye makeup because everything would smear, but since switching to this, I rarely have that problem! Let's be honest, as long as an eyeliner doesn't smudge, that's all that really matters, right? The color is beautiful too! My eyes are naturally light brown, and this complements my eye color perfectly. Like all pencil eyeliners, it's quite blunt when you first start using it. If you're transitioning from liquid liners, you might find it really challenging to apply at first. (Oh, how I wish for a super sharp pencil liner!) However, once you get used to it, it becomes incredibly easy and convenient to apply with just a few quick strokes. When I want a more natural eye look, or on days when I don't feel like using liquid liner, this is my go-to product! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 20, 2024
This is my absolute favorite eyeliner. I've tried almost all the popular brands out there, but this one takes the cake. While the tip might seem a bit thick, it's actually the most convenient for filling in the waterline. The color is perfect - not too red, not too black. It applies smoothly, and you get a generous amount of product. While smudging is similar across all liners, this one's application is top-notch. There are many ash-toned options available, but in the end, muted brown is the way to go. There's nothing to dislike about this product. Just please don't discontinue it! To prevent eye smudging, it's best to apply powder beforehand. Some smudging is inevitable though. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 22, 2023
The soft texture made it easy to apply, and I loved the dark, subdued color. While it's slightly thick, you get the hang of it with practice and can draw a nice line. Due to its softness, it can easily become blunt. If you prefer drawing thin eyeliner, I'd recommend the Sharp So Simple liner instead. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 5, 2023
The color is perfect for cool skin tones. It glides on smoothly and effortlessly! Not many downsides, but it might be a bit tricky to create a sharp wing. You can use a cotton swab to fix it though. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSep 25, 2023
The color is beautiful and it's easy to apply! The staying power was also pretty decent. The tip was too blunt... It was a bit tricky to create a sharp wing, and it broke easily. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSep 4, 2023
I love the Gel Presso series for its beautiful colors and smooth application. There are no downsides at all. Some say it's thick, but I don't really notice that. If you blend the edges with your fingers, it looks natural and pretty. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 16, 2023
It glides on smoothly and the color is perfect for me - no redness, which I absolutely love! The staying power is so-so... It tends to fade easily. Also, the tip is a bit blunt. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 13, 2023
I absolutely love the color! It's a brown shade without too much red undertone, so it looks more natural when applied. The pencil glides on smoothly, making it a pleasure to use. The staying power is a bit disappointing, and the thick tip makes it somewhat challenging to draw precise lines, especially at the corners.
