They say niacinamide can help offset some of retinol's irritating side effects when used together. Retinol tends to be harsh on my skin, which is prone to redness. While I haven't seen any remarkable improvements yet from this combination, I'm quite interested in niacinamide as an ingredient (I even take it as a supplement). So, I'm satisfied just knowing I'm applying it to my skin! To be honest, I'm not a fan of this serum's consistency. It's neither watery nor creamy, but more of a mucus-like texture. While I find this texture a bit uncomfortable, it hasn't caused any visible blemishes so far! It's just slightly disappointing, that's all.
