As a fan of the Frankincense Cream, I tend to trust and purchase all Neals Yard products. I decided to try the oil instead of the cream, as it suits my dry skin well and has great absorption for massaging. I'm pleased to find it's not excessively rich, gives a nice glow, and feels like it creates a protective layer on my skin. Plus, I absolutely love herbal scents, so I'm personally very satisfied with this product. In the past, there were many shops, making it convenient to buy in-store. But now, the number of stores is decreasing. I'm worried they might withdraw from the market if they haven't been promoted well in Korea. Fortunately, you can still find small quantities in larger Boots stores, so keep that in mind. I apply the oil by dropping a few drops into my palm, rubbing my hands together to warm it up, then gently pressing it onto my face for absorption. Afterwards, I massage along my jawline, nose, forehead, and eyebrows using my index and middle fingers. It feels incredibly refreshing and helps with oil absorption. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 20, 2017
The reviews show that many people are bothered by the fragrance. For me, the fragrance is the next best thing about this product after the ingredients. I really dislike artificial rose scents (the kind you often find in car air fresheners that give me an instant headache), so I'm happy that this has a natural, pleasant fragrance that lifts my mood. I had to stop using it because it was very oily. I got some small bumps on my forehead as well.. I guess it depends on one's skin type. It says to use it within 3 months of opening, but even using just a drop or two in the morning and evening, I don't think I would have been able to use it all up in that time. It took me about 2 months to get through the whole bottle when I was applying it all over my body. This is a great oil for winter use. When I massaged it into my skin, I could really feel the warmth spreading through my body. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJun 24, 2016
I heard good things about this oil, so I looked it up and simply bought it because I liked the rose scent. Despite being an oil, it doesn't feel sticky at all and applies very smoothly. After applying, my skin feels silky and glowy. The price is also quite reasonable compared to other brands. It's a very gentle product and being organic gives me confidence in it. It might be a bit drying for extremely dry skin. However, I highly recommend it for combination or oily skin types as it doesn't feel sticky at all. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 17, 2016
So far, it's been great. I used to use the Decleor face oil, but it was hard to find stores when I went to Korea, so I used this one. It's a bit thicker than the Decleor face oil, and the scent is more pronounced. Since I have quite dry skin, I need to apply a moisturizer and a night cream after using it, but it's still been good so far! The scent is a bit too strong, and it's a bit thick, so I have to pat it on gently. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 6, 2015
This is a great product. It's really moisturizing. The quality is excellent for the price, and it has a nice fragrance too. It applies smoothly and provides an aromatic effect. It seems to leave a bit of a yellow tint, so it might be better for nighttime use. Since it's an oil, it could potentially cause makeup to separate if not used properly. I'd recommend using it at night. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 11, 2015
My skin is sensitive, and even just being exposed to a lot of wind makes my face sting when I cleanse at night. The Nielsyard Facial Oil has been a huge help. After cleansing, massaging my face with the oil and then applying a layer of cream really soothes my skin. I personally really enjoy the fragrance - the aromatic scent is very calming. There's not really anything I dislike, but in the beginning, I had to buy a separate dropper and cut the straw part to use it, since there wasn't one included. But nowadays, the product comes with its own built-in dropper, which is much more convenient. I prefer pumping the oil out rather than using the dropper. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 6, 2015
Since it's an organic product, it's gentle and not irritating. I often have trouble with sensitive skin, but when I apply it even when I have a breakout, there's no issue the next day. The price is also reasonable~The organic product has a nice fragrance as well ^^ There's nothing particularly disappointing, but the 50ml version doesn't have a dropper;; The 30ml version does have one
