I was really curious about the night cream among the Lab Cos products. Now that I'm in my 30s, I'm looking for a thick, night-time cream (?) that suits me. It's been difficult because I have sensitive skin and trouble-prone skin. When I first saw the texture of the night cream, I thought it would be a miss for me. But the cream has a rich and creamy feel, yet it applies smoothly and absorbs incredibly well. It seems that Lab Cos products have excellent absorption power regardless of the texture. :) My sensitive skin didn't experience any stinging, except for the toner, and there was no dryness until the morning. :)

Pros
My skin type is oily, with constant oil secretion. When I first received the product, I was curious about the mushroom scent, but after opening it and smelling it directly, I found the mushroom aroma to be subtle and pleasant. As someone sensitive to scents, I was relieved that the mushroom fragrance was not overpowering or unpleasant. Unless I put my nose directly to it, the scent was not significantly bothersome. As an oily-skinned person, I place great importance on the oily/greasy feeling after application, and this product was great in that regard. The texture is smooth and applies nicely, leaving a light coating on the skin without any oily residue, which I found very satisfactory.
Cons
Since the product is named a 'night cream', the texture is somewhere between a balm and a cream, so it's not as easily scoopable as shown in the photos. I think it would have been better if the package included a spatula. The product feels more like a skin coating than a deep hydration. It works well for light application during the summer, but in the current winter weather, I found it a bit drying to use on its own, so I've been applying an essence or moisturizer beforehand.

Pros
If I don't wash my face, I get multiple breakouts. But after using this product, my face doesn't get oily at all in the morning and feels refreshed! I thought the cream texture wouldn't be lightweight, and my face would get oily, but it's the opposite - the finish is matte, and it seems to control the oil well. When the skin lacks moisture, excess oil production tries to compensate for that, but this cream seems to provide sufficient moisture to the skin, preventing excess oil. As mentioned earlier, it seems to balance the skin's oil-moisture levels well! This is truly the cream I was looking for. ☝️It has a subtle mushroom scent. Since the cream contains chaga mushroom extract, it has a subtle mushroom aroma. I'm not particularly sensitive to scents, so as long as it's not overpowering, the fragrance doesn't bother me much. In fact, I quite like the mushroom scent! But for those who are averse to mushroom fragrances, it's something to keep in mind. Honestly, before receiving the product, I didn't have high expectations and thought I'd have to use the Cha-Yao Rest line together to see results. But this cream alone was sufficient to balance my skin's oil-moisture levels and have a soothing effect, exceeding my expectations!
