The color payoff is beautiful. It applies smoothly and cleanly. I highly recommend it. The shade is a bit disappointing. I suggest trying it on in-store before purchasing. - ju****Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 30, 2024
The nude shade is versatile - it's great for a light touch on the lips with just base makeup, and it also creates a subtle, elegant look when worn with full makeup. The matte formula might require mixing with other products if you're after more hydration. However, I personally love the matte finish, so I'm quite satisfied with it. - se*************Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedSep 1, 2024
The warm tone suited me perfectly. The color itself was absolutely gorgeous. The strawberry scent was quite pleasant too! I bought it thinking it would be a nude shade, but it turned out to be darker than I expected, which was a bit disappointing. It might work better as a base layer with a bolder color on top for accent. For a nice blurred effect, try blending with your fingers instead of using a lip brush! - Hwahae UserOily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedDec 3, 2023
The color payoff is excellent, allowing for a clean application with just a small amount. Plus, the case is adorably cute! It tends to accentuate dead skin cells a bit. I'd recommend applying lip balm before use to smooth things out for better results. - yi****Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 18, 2023
- This is my first time trying a nude product, and I'm really pleased with the color. Thankfully, it's not too deep, so it doesn't completely wash out my natural lip color. At first, I wasn't sure, but after wearing it for a while, it stains beautifully. I'm glad I bought it! - It's perfect as a base layer. - It applies smoothly without clumping and spreads well, making it great for creating an overlip look. - Nothing specific, but since it's a matte tint, you'll need to moisturize your lips beforehand. - da*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 29, 2023
True to the reliable Velvet Line, it's excellent for a matte finish. I highly recommend shade 25 for warm-toned individuals - it's a perfect match! Controlling the amount can be tricky. You need to apply just a light touch and blend well for the best results. - wn********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 18, 2023
I bought this product as soon as it came out because of its unique color. This season's formula has a smoother and lighter texture compared to the previous Ink the Velvet. It's disappointing that the color is much deeper than what's shown on the official website. I wish it was a bit more of a daily nude shade. Also, it's not completely matte velvet, but has a slight slip to it, which is another downside. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 18, 2023
I like the texture. It's suitable as a base. On its own, it's a bit too beige though. I've used dozens of tints before, but this is the first time I've had such a reaction. When I use this, it stings and itches so badly that my skin weeps. It's a disaster! - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedApr 30, 2023
A great lip color for those who don't usually suit bright shades. You can create a perfect base lip by dabbing it on and blending with your finger. While it seems to be a shade that suits warm undertones, even those with deep undertones can pull it off with a thin application. Though the photo might not do it justice, trust me, it really does look flattering. Being a matte lip product, it can feel a bit drying. Those with deep undertones should apply it very thinly, and I wouldn't recommend it for cool-toned skin. For those who shy away from bright lip colors, try layering a more nude shade underneath and use this as a thin accent layer for a beautiful effect. In the photo, I've applied it lightly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 2, 2023
1. Absorbs well despite being matte 2. The brick-like color looks prettier as a gradient than as a full lip 3. Recommended for matte lip lovers Note: The color is darker than in the photos 1. Difficult to control the amount 2. Being matte, it significantly emphasizes dead skin cells and wrinkles
