It's mildly acidic but cleanses so thoroughly, leaving my skin squeaky clean!
ConsSometimes when my skin isn't in the best condition, it can cause a tingling sensation while washing. But that's the only downside.

I also loved that the scent wasn't overpowering and it didn't leave my skin feeling overly dry after use!
ConsI had some blemishes on my skin from improperly squeezing pimples, and it stung a bit when the product directly touched those areas. However, this happens with other products too, so I wouldn't consider it a significant drawback!

First off, the foam texture made it incredibly convenient to use. Plus, it was gentle enough not to irritate my skin, allowing for a mild cleansing experience. Before using this product, I suddenly had a breakout with lots of red, inflamed blemishes all over my face. However, after about a week of use, all the redness and inflammation had calmed down significantly. Being specifically designed for acne, it does have a distinct scent, but it's not overwhelming or bothersome. I highly recommend this for those struggling with acne-prone skin.
ConsThere are two minor drawbacks: Firstly, since it's a foam cleanser, the lather tends to disappear as you're cleansing, which means you end up using more product from the start. Secondly, if you open your eyes while cleansing, it can cause a slight tingling sensation.

Cons1) The foam is thin and not dense 2) Not effective for makeup removal. When used with cleansing oil or cream, cleansing effectiveness decreases, requiring more pumps of the product and an additional cleansing step 3) May cause tingling or extreme dryness for sensitive or very dry skin. For blemish-prone or super sensitive skin, the tingling sensation can last longer. After cleansing, I experienced severe dryness and deep dryness 4) Although it claims to control oil production, I couldn't notice any effect. After using it for several days, morning and night, I didn't feel even a slight change. Instead, it irritated my skin and caused more blemishes
TipMake sure to cleanse morning and night, and always follow up with hydration

First off, it produces a rich, abundant lather - definitely a major plus! The scent is a familiar blend of tea tree and cica, which those of us with blemish-prone skin will recognize. It's quite easy to use, though I found it's better suited for cleansing bare skin rather than removing makeup.
ConsWhile this foam cleanser is marketed for sensitive, blemish-prone skin, I unfortunately experienced more breakouts after using it. For a month before trying this product, my skin was completely clear. But soon after I started using it, I suddenly developed new blemishes. When I tried to remove makeup with it, it wasn't very effective. Moreover, I felt a burning sensation when using it on bare skin. Overall, there were quite a few aspects that left me disappointed.
TipIf you're still keen on trying this product, I'd recommend using it on bare skin rather than for makeup removal.

When I first received this, it was midsummer and extremely hot. I was dealing with folliculitis, so I was pleased to see propolis in the ingredients! What I really loved was how well it lathers - the foam is absolutely abundant! I think this would be fantastic for those with acne-prone skin who find it suits them well.
ConsUnfortunately, my skin suddenly became seborrheic, causing my skin barrier to break down. When I use it now, it stings. I think it might be due to the alcohol and salicylic acid in the formula. Given my current skin condition, I don't think I'll be able to repurchase it.

Your skin feels moisturized even after cleansing.
ConsPossibly due to the salicylic acid, it might sting slightly when it touches areas where you've squeezed blemishes! However, it's not severe, so it's still worth trying.
TipFor morning cleansing or light cleansing, one pump is sufficient. For deep cleansing in the evening, using 2-3 pumps works well.

For my combination skin, other foam cleansers can feel a bit superficial and overly cleansing, but this product leaves no residue, which I love. It's especially perfect for use on humid or hot days when you're feeling sticky and uncomfortable.
Cons1. The scent is quite polarizing. I don't particularly mind fragrances, but it seems like people either love or hate this one. 2. Perhaps due to the alcohol content, it stung a bit when I used it on popped blemishes. Those with acne-prone or super sensitive skin should use it with caution. 3. Compared to other cleansers, this one seems to leave the skin feeling tighter after washing. While I don't experience this with other cleansers, this one definitely causes some post-cleanse tightness.
TipI usually use about 3 pumps, but it runs out faster than expected! Two pumps should be enough. In my experience, this cleansing mousse is better at controlling oil compared to other products. That's why I use it after going out on days when my skin feels particularly oily or when I've sweated a lot.

Here's what I liked about this product: - Propolis ingredient + no synthetic fragrance: Propolis works well for my skin, and the scent was refreshing and pleasant to me (I'm not a fan of overly feminine floral scents). - Long-lasting oil control: My previous powder cleanser left a nice balance of oil and moisture, making it versatile for year-round use. However, in summer, excess oil becomes an issue, making my skincare routine too greasy. This foam cleanser effectively controls oil during cleansing and, more importantly, maintains oil control even after rinsing. So, I decided to experiment (note: this is my personal experience and may not apply to everyone, nor were all variables perfectly controlled). After evening cleansing with my old powder cleanser and following my usual skincare routine (Neogen BHA Toner Pads - Hydrating Mist - COSRX Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Essence - Cell Fusion C Barrier Moisturizing Cream), my U-zone felt somewhat sticky by morning. However, when I used this Esmelitin foam followed by the same routine, I noticed a slight tightness in my U-zone the next morning. The following night, I applied a thin layer of Pure Moisture Barrier Cream (which feels richer than the Barrier Moisturizing Gel) only to my U-zone. The next morning, my skin felt comfortably hydrated without excess oil. My conclusion: I need to use this up quickly while the weather is hot! Now's the time!
Cons- Alcohol content: I'm particularly sensitive to alcohol. Even an alcohol swab for injections can make my skin red and puffy. I was hesitant to use this product because alcohol is listed in the middle of the ingredients. Surprisingly, there weren't any noticeable side effects, but I did feel a slight tingling around my mouth where the skin is thinner. I wouldn't recommend this to those with more sensitive skin than mine. - Pore care effectiveness is questionable. I didn't feel like it thoroughly cleaned out sebum-filled pores. Of course, this might require longer-term use to see results.
Tip- If it seems to control oil too well, try using it only once a day, either morning or evening. - It seems to work well with hyaluronic acid essences/toners that focus on hydration. After all, if your skin doesn't maintain a proper oil-moisture balance, won't it produce more sebum for protection?

When the pump is stiff, it can be inconvenient, but this product comes out easily with just a gentle press, which I really liked! - Texture: Being a cleansing mousse, I was curious how it would compare to other foam cleansers or oils, as it's a less common type. It felt like an incredibly soft foam cleanser. The foam is rich and gentle, so you don't need to rub to create lather, making it pleasant to wash with. However, the foam is very light and airy, not like the typical foam you might expect - it collapses easily when pressed. - Cleansing effectiveness: It removed eyeshadow, tint, and other color makeup well, except for mascara! The cleansing power was surprisingly good for this type of formula. (See photo for reference) - Post-cleanse feel: It rinses away oil cleanly without stripping all the moisture, which was satisfying for my oily, blemish-prone skin! Those with dry skin might find it a bit drying, though.
ConsNot recommended for super sensitive skin :( - Irritation: While I don't have particularly sensitive skin, so I didn't experience any breakouts or reactions, I did feel a slight tingling sensation during use, even though I'm not typically sensitive. So I wouldn't call it gentle. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend it for those with sensitive skin, just to be safe. - Scent: There's a slight tangy scent, almost like vinegar. I don't prioritize fragrance, so it didn't bother me, but those who are sensitive to scents might not like it.
TipSuitable as a second cleanser after oil cleansing or for morning cleansing! Recommended for oily skin types!
