It's more of a light lather rather than a rich cream. The scent wasn't particularly off-putting.
ConsI use waterproof mascara, so I have to use this as a first step for eye and lip makeup removal. It removes eyeliner, but doesn't quite tackle mascara. You'll definitely need to follow up with a second cleanse. A foam cleanser is a must for the final step!
TipA double cleanse is necessary! Remove eye and lip makeup with a dedicated remover before using this product.

When I'm stressed or affected by environmental factors, I quickly develop acne on my chin. I usually use low pH cleansers. Review after use: This is my feedback after using the product from the 9th to the 13th in the evenings. Two pumps were sufficient for a thorough cleanse. The foam has a soft, fluffy texture. While my usual cleansing foam is also low pH, this one feels even gentler and leaves my skin feeling refreshed. I've been using cica products recently due to acne, but after switching to this cleansing foam, I noticed significant improvement in sebum control and dead skin cell removal. Previously, my skin would become oily and shiny after a while, but now, about a week in, it's less greasy. While it may not exfoliate as thoroughly as a peeling gel, I definitely noticed its effectiveness. I love how soft my skin feels after cleansing. There's a slight tightness, but it's less than with other products, which I find satisfactory. The scent is similar to cica or perhaps propolis. I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, so I found it pleasant. As someone who regularly visits a dermatologist, I appreciated that it didn't irritate my sensitive skin (even after extractions). This was the most impressive aspect for me.
ConsAreas for improvement: - Cleansing power: As it's an acne-focused cleansing foam, it's understandable, but it struggles with removing makeup. I usually wear foundation, and it didn't completely remove it. It might be fine for sunscreen, but for anything more, I'd recommend using a cleansing oil first. - Price: I received this product as part of The Hwahae Testers program, so I learned about the price later. It seems a bit expensive for everyday use. While the high-quality ingredients justify the cost to some extent, considering that cleansing foam is used daily and often multiple times a day, I think most people would prefer a more affordable option.
TipI was intrigued by the image on the product page showing the foam applied like a face mask, so I tried it. It seemed to work well. I felt like it helped calm down areas where my skin was particularly irritated.

Here's my honest review as one of The Hwahae Testers! I've been using this product daily for a week since I received it. I was previously using Sen*** foam cleanser, but it left my skin feeling tight and dry after washing. Unlike other products, Medline's Acne Cleansing Mousse doesn't leave my skin feeling overly tight or dry after patting it dry. That's a big plus! I wear makeup every day and had a lot of red blemishes on my skin. But after using the Acne Cleansing Mousse, those red marks have significantly reduced! My skin texture has also improved noticeably. The Acne Cleansing Mousse comes out as a foam, but when you apply it to your face, it transforms into a water-like consistency. It feels like I'm using a foam toner to refine my skin texture, which I love. My skin texture has indeed become much more refined!
ConsUnlike regular foam cleansers where you work up a lather, this is a cleansing foam product, so it's not great for heavy-duty cleansing. It doesn't remove thick makeup very well!
TipAs I mentioned in the drawbacks, it doesn't remove heavy makeup effectively. So, I use Ba***raco cleansing balm to dissolve heavy eye and lip makeup as well as base makeup. I rinse it off with lukewarm water, then follow up with the Acne Cleansing Mousse for a second cleanse!

As I recently had some small blemishes along my hairline, I decided to try this product. The product's texture produces rich foam, not with large bubbles, but with fine, dense bubbles like whipped cream. It's soft and abundant, allowing me to cleanse with the foam touching my skin rather than skin-to-skin contact. While it removes basic makeup, it doesn't effectively cleanse mascara, especially waterproof products. However, I was very satisfied that the small blemishes along my hairline were barely noticeable after use. The scent seems to be tea tree-like, but it's not overpowering, so I don't think it will be polarizing for most people.
ConsAs mentioned above, if you need strong cleansing for waterproof products, it's better to remove them first and then use this product as a second cleanse. Perhaps due to the fluctuating weather as autumn approaches, I noticed a different feeling after using this product compared to before: 'my face feels slightly tight after cleansing'.

It's the Esmelithin Acne Cleansing Mousse from Medline. Let me share my honest review with you! First off, I was curious about what Esmelithin actually is. I did some research before using it and found out it's a patented ingredient derived from bee venom. It contains about 6% melittin, with the toxic elements removed while maintaining melittin's beneficial effects. What's remarkable is that while plant-based ingredients might cost tens of thousands of dollars per kilogram, the same amount of Esmelithin extracted from bees without preservatives can cost up to 600 million won! That's how precious and expensive this ingredient is. I'm thrilled that we can use such a high-quality ingredient in a gentle formulation. Texture: It's truly a mousse-type cleanser as the name suggests! The foam is light and fluffy, neither too airy nor too dense - perfect for massaging into the skin. Scent: There's a faint medicinal scent when you first apply it, but it disappears as you massage it in. Sebum control: With a pH of 6.5, it's mildly acidic, so it doesn't leave your skin feeling squeaky clean. I was skeptical about how well it would control oil, but I noticed my T-zone was definitely less oily! Apparently, it's been clinically proven to have 5 effects: sebum control, pore tightening, exfoliation, skin soothing, and non-irritating. It's reassuring to know it's been thoroughly tested. They claim it's a product that can tackle sebum, dead skin cells, and blemishes all at once! Recommended skin types: I'd recommend this for all skin types! It's so gentle that you can use it twice daily without any issues.
ConsThe foam disappears if you massage it onto dry skin. It's best to apply it to damp skin to maintain the lather while cleansing. Also, since it's a gentle cleanser designed for acne-prone skin, it doesn't seem to be effective at removing waterproof makeup.
TipAfter your initial cleanse, apply the mousse to slightly damp skin. Massage it all over your face, then rinse off with lukewarm water.
