The stick format is convenient, and it's easy to swipe on quickly. If you choose the right shade, it's not bad at all. It's extremely expensive for the amount you get, and it's quite drying. You need to pat it in well when applying, otherwise it clumps and doesn't blend well with other makeup. - wi*********Combination SkinRecommendedJun 4, 2021
It really seems to fit my skin perfectly. With other products, my pores often look more pronounced, but this one doesn't do that at all. Instead, it gives a slightly smooth and glowing effect. In the height of summer, I lightly apply some oil control powder, especially in the T-zone. These days, because of wearing masks, I only apply it around my forehead and use a damp sponge to lightly blend it down to the bridge of my nose. Even with this minimal application, there's no visible coverage line and the color isn't overwhelming at all. This isn't a brand that does sales, is it? Haha. I guess it's easier on the mind to just give up on getting it cheaper... Haha. If you use a damp sponge (personally, I highly recommend the Beauty Blender) to pat and blend it out, there are no visible edges, the coverage is great, and it adheres to the skin really well. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 29, 2017
The coverage is definitely great, and it has a nice bouncy texture with a good level of hydration! It's not too oily, which is great, and the staying power is excellent! First off, using an applicator is a must, and the best match is a brush. If you apply it with other applicators, it can feel a bit heavy due to its thickness, which is somewhat disappointing. For those who usually use shade 23, this color should be a safe choice! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 21, 2017
It's excellent at covering blemishes, acne scars, and mild redness. The coverage is really impressive. With other foundations, I usually need to apply concealer after one layer, but with this Mefos stick foundation, one application is enough to hide imperfections well. Those with dry skin might find it a bit drying. It's important to have a solid skincare base before applying. I bought an expensive foundation brush, but I couldn't apply it well and it left streaks. So now I just use a latex sponge to apply the foundation, which works better for me. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 23, 2017
One of the advantages of stick foundation is that you can apply makeup without getting it on your hands. Just swipe it on, then use a damp beauty sponge from Daiso to gently pat it in. I'm satisfied with the adherence, coverage, and lasting power. My combination dehydrated skin with an oily T-zone and desert-dry U-zone, plus large pores on my nose, acne scars, and uneven skin tone all benefit from this. It brightens my complexion without looking cakey, and even covers up a lot of my blemishes. If you don't prep your skin thoroughly, it'll look patchy and messy right after application. For best results, open your pores with a warm towel while cleansing, exfoliate to remove dead skin cells, then follow up with a sheet mask, facial oil, and rich cream in your skincare routine. The next day, your makeup will adhere so well you'll wonder if it's the same product. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 3, 2017
It feels incredibly lightweight and moisturizing. I've heard many people say it looks just like my natural skin tone, as if I'm not wearing any makeup at all. It was my holy grail foundation, but... The stick format seems unhygienic. I bought two different shades for a two-tone base makeup, but both started to smell fishy. Also, I have combination skin with an oily T-zone, and the makeup breaks down in that area after about two hours. Even setting it with Laura Mercier loose powder doesn't help. After some time (4-5 hours), there's also a slight oxidation effect, though it's not too severe. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 18, 2017
It glides on smoothly and the stick format is so convenient. Surprisingly long-lasting too! The downside is having to buy a separate brush. The coverage could be better. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 15, 2017
I love darker shades, and this one matches my skin perfectly! It gives a natural finish that doesn't look out of place on my oily skin type. The complexion looks effortlessly beautiful. It can be quite drying, so those with dry skin might want to be cautious. I wouldn't recommend setting it with powder. Also, keep in mind that it doesn't have sun protection, so make sure to apply sunscreen before using this product. For best results, apply a light moisturizer before using this product. It blends beautifully, creating a dewy finish. You don't even need to set it with powder - it looks natural on its own. - as***********Dry SkinAcne SkinJan 4, 2017
The coverage is great and it applies smoothly, making it a must-have for my dry skin. Since it's applied directly to the skin, I occasionally notice some dust on it... You need to wipe it clean. I found that using a round brush to apply it gives a natural and even finish! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 14, 2016
As someone prone to blemishes, I find the coverage quite good, and the adherence to the skin is exceptional. Among stick foundations, it applies smoothly and has decent staying power even for combination-oily skin types. It can feel a bit dry when applying, leaving a slightly powdery finish. I recommend spraying some face mist while applying to help it adhere better and look less dry on the skin.
