  Pros

  This is an essential item for extremely dry skin during fall, winter, and spring when it is extremely dry. The product itself is mild yet creamy, and the oil-moisture balance is good, but it has a lot of oil content, which is exactly what extremely dry skin needs.

  Cons

  Trouble is not an issue, but it's not recommended for summer or humid days. There is a slight stickiness, and the oil content rises due to humidity. For seasons with a lot of sweating or high humidity, it would be better to use the same product one step down from the Ultra version.

  Tip

  I tend to use it all year round except for summer. If it feels too dry, I mix in 2-3 drops of body oil while using it.

  As someone with extremely dry skin in winter, this is perfect for both body and face. I usually struggle with dead skin cells on my face, but with this, I don't have to worry about flaking at all! It's a real lifesaver!

  If you don't have extremely dry skin, you might find it a bit too rich and oily. The texture could be too heavy for some. That's why I only use it during winter months.

  Pros

  After a bad bathing experience, my skin barrier was compromised, making it sensitive even to water. I had to rely on dermatological treatments and focus solely on moisturizing for almost a month. Illiyoon really helped me through this. Born with genetically weak skin (dry, atopic, and sensitive), I usually can't use just anything. Surprisingly, the Illiyoon Repair Emulsion caused no irritation when used on both face and body. I was worried about the fragrance, but it wasn't an issue at all! I also tried the blue Illiyoon product, but the Repair Emulsion definitely offers more hydration, firmness, and richness. Though I dislike the feeling of product on my skin, it's unavoidable. The next morning, my skin feels soft and soothed. Additional note: Initially, it was great, but as it's a fragranced product, I did feel some irritation when applied to my face. Can't be helped, I guess. I'm using it diligently on my body now. For severe winter dryness, it's absolutely perfect for body care.

  If you have oily skin, this might be a bit challenging to use. It does have a slightly rich texture!

  Tip

  When my skin was extremely dry, I mixed in a bit of coconut oil. It actually made the texture feel less heavy. Additional note: Even for dry skin, it might feel a bit heavy during spring and summer.

  I've been using this product daily for several years now. As someone with extremely dry skin, I apply it before bed and even before makeup, just adjusting the amount. I chose it for its excellent hydration, not necessarily for its value, but the affordable price and generous quantity feel like an added bonus.

  Cons

  Naturally, being great for extremely dry skin means it has a rich feel. That's why I adjust the amount when using it before makeup. Other than that, I can't really think of any other drawbacks.
