As someone who prefers subtle lip colors, this was perfect for me. I really like it! I use Vaseline, so maybe that's why, but I felt it was a bit lacking in terms of hydration.

Non-sticky yet moisturizing formula: It has a texture similar to a regular lip balm - not overly sticky, with just the right amount of hydration. Clean ingredients: As a vegan lip balm, it's not only cruelty-free but also has gentle ingredients. I reach for it more often than other colored lipsticks. Natural color payoff: The color isn't too intense or too weak - it's perfect for a bare-faced look. I love that it doesn't apply patchy. I've used it so much that I've completely emptied the tube! It's also not too expensive to give as gifts, so I've often gifted it to friends and family. There's nothing I dislike about it! Some say the hydration is weak, and it's true that you can't expect the same level of moisture as a high-performance lip balm. However, I've dropped the packaging several times and it's remained sturdy without cracking. Overall, I'm satisfied with this product in many aspects. The color is versatile, and the pigmentation is just right - not too intense or too subtle. Unlike some tinted lip balms that emphasize dead skin cells over time, this one stays moisturizing until the end, which I really appreciate. There's no staining effect or long-lasting power at all. You'll need to reapply frequently. It applies smoothly and I felt reassured knowing all the ingredients are plant-based. I loved how moisturizing it felt on application. However, about an hour after applying, my lips started to swell up. I probably won't be able to use it anymore. I think my lips might be reacting to the butter in the formula. It's disappointing. I absolutely love that it's vegan! That's the best part for sure. And it's great that it's a tinted lip balm too! Unfortunately, the moisturizing effect doesn't last very long. Since it's tinted, it's a bit tricky to keep reapplying. I was looking for a tinted lip balm and bought this one since it was highly ranked on Coupang. Turns out it's quite popular these days! Plus, it's vegan, has beautiful packaging, great color payoff, and excellent hydration!! I initially bought one shade, lost it after a week, and repurchased. Then I found the lost one, so now I'm happily using both. I think I'll stick to this lip balm from now on. It might get a bit messy after prolonged use? This is hands down the best lip balm I've ever used in terms of color payoff. While it's not velvety or silky, but rather has a slight sheen, it doesn't cause any issues even when worn overnight. It's perfect for applying like lipstick on a bare face. The application is smooth and effortless. It applies so smoothly that I'm concerned about how well the formula will hold up in hot summer weather without melting. It's rare to find a lip balm with such beautiful color payoff and intensity. The shades were truly stunning. Plus, this lip balm comes in a variety of colors, so even if you're not into the Red Velvet shade, there are plenty of options to try. The fact that it's a vegan cosmetic product is definitely another strong point. I'm not sure if it's because my lips are particularly dry or if there's an ingredient that doesn't agree with me, but this product severely emphasized my dead skin cells, forcing me to stop using it. It felt dry shortly after application, which made me realize it wasn't the right product for me. If hydration is your top priority when buying a lip balm, I'd recommend testing it first before purchasing. The moisturizing effect doesn't seem to last very long.
