  If cica products work well for you, I highly recommend this one. It's incredibly hydrating, making it a go-to even in the depths of winter. When your skin feels irritated from wearing masks or when blemishes pop up, applying a generous amount helps soothe the skin quickly. With daily use, I noticed those pesky little bumps that used to appear occasionally have almost completely vanished. If you're on the hunt for a hydrating, calming ampoule, this is definitely worth trying!

  This might not be the best fit for those with oily skin. I'd recommend it more for dry or combination skin types. If you have oily skin, you might want to consider the Cica Full ampoule instead.

  Pros

  This is truly a top-tier soothing ampoule. My skin barrier was compromised, leading to folliculitis and seborrheic dermatitis, causing redness and swelling. After applying this product along with some medication, I experienced incredibly fast relief! When I was only taking medication, I didn't feel much improvement, but once I started using this product, I could genuinely feel it calming my skin day by day. Thanks to the cica ingredients, I could sense my skin barrier becoming stronger. As soon as the 50ml larger size version came out, I immediately purchased it. If you have super sensitive skin, you absolutely must try this!

  The downside is that, as someone with oily skin, I found the texture a bit heavy. I don't use it before makeup, but it works well as part of my nighttime skincare routine.

  They also have pads, toner, and cream in this line. Using the whole range together doubles the soothing synergy. It's just so good!

  I bought this product after hearing it's great for soothing and hydrating the skin. (For reference, I have severe redness and deep dryness!) Texture: A thick, viscous texture that spreads easily Scent: A cool, refreshing scent similar to alcohol Review after use: Here's my feedback after about a month of use: First off, it's truly effective for hydration. Being gentle, it doesn't cause any new blemishes or skin irritations! However, I didn't notice any improvement in existing blemishes or skin issues. It's purely for hydration and soothing (with hydration being the stronger effect). Due to its thick consistency, it leaves a slightly sticky feeling even after absorption. This was my main gripe with the product. (Given its texture, I think it would suit those with dry skin better than those with oily skin) It's not that it doesn't absorb, but rather it's a characteristic of the formula. However, it's not my preferred texture... So, I applied two layers at night and just one layer in the morning. The soothing and hydrating effects were definitely noticeable - I woke up with moisturized skin and significantly reduced redness. Summary: If you're like me and don't prefer sticky textures, have very oily skin, or are mainly concerned about blemishes, I'd suggest looking for a different product! But if your primary goal is soothing and hydrating, I'd recommend this!

  I have extremely dry skin that feels like it's about to crack if I don't moisturize enough. On the flip side, if I apply too much product or use overly rich cosmetics, I immediately break out. For me, layering this ampoule about 3 times and then finishing with just a dab of hydrating cream works wonders - no more tightness or discomfort! It's also great for calming my skin, which is why I'm so satisfied and keep repurchasing it.

  There's nothing I dislike about this product, which is why I continue to repurchase and use it.

  Tip

  When I have extra time, I like to cool down my skin and soothe it first, then apply B-plane Cicaterol pads before using this product. If I'm in a hurry, I just use the ampoule followed by a hydrating cream. When I have more time, I go for the full routine: pads, ampoule, and then moisturizer.
