If cica products work well for you, I highly recommend this one. It's incredibly hydrating, making it a go-to even in the depths of winter. When your skin feels irritated from wearing masks or when blemishes pop up, applying a generous amount helps soothe the skin quickly. With daily use, I noticed those pesky little bumps that used to appear occasionally have almost completely vanished. If you're on the hunt for a hydrating, calming ampoule, this is definitely worth trying! This might not be the best fit for those with oily skin. I'd recommend it more for dry or combination skin types. If you have oily skin, you might want to consider the Cica Full ampoule instead. I'm a big fan of B-PLANE's cica ampoules. During warmer seasons like spring and summer, I opt for the Cica Full ampoule. When I need that extra hydration in fall and winter, I switch to the Cicaterol ampoule. If you respond well to cica products, I highly recommend this - it's guaranteed to be effective! Whenever I get a few inflamed blemishes, I apply this before bed. In the morning, you can visibly see the reduction in swelling! The texture is a bit runny and slightly sticky, so I wouldn't recommend it if you dislike that kind of consistency.

I've only been using this for two days, but it's already calmed my redness and even faded my blemishes and acne marks. It's absolutely fantastic! This is truly a top-tier soothing ampoule. My skin barrier was compromised, leading to folliculitis and seborrheic dermatitis, causing redness and swelling. After applying this product along with some medication, I experienced incredibly fast relief! When I was only taking medication, I didn't feel much improvement, but once I started using this product, I could genuinely feel it calming my skin day by day. Thanks to the cica ingredients, I could sense my skin barrier becoming stronger. As soon as the 50ml larger size version came out, I immediately purchased it. If you have super sensitive skin, you absolutely must try this! The downside is that, as someone with oily skin, I found the texture a bit heavy. I don't use it before makeup, but it works well as part of my nighttime skincare routine. They also have pads, toner, and cream in this line. It's lightweight and not sticky at all. The scent wasn't artificial either, which I appreciated. I bought this because it was supposed to be good for combination skin types... But it didn't work for me. My skin turned red and I developed inflammatory acne. When trying new products, especially those with complex ingredients, it's always wise to patch test first. As someone with atopic skin, I initially found this product quite tingling! It didn't seem to soothe my skin instantly, so I stopped using it. However, after reading a positive review from another person with atopic skin on Olive Young, I decided to give it another try. While my atopic condition hasn't completely cleared up, I'm pleased to report that when I applied it just now, there was no tingling sensation. This suggests it truly is a calming ampoule... I bought this after reading reviews when my acne was at its worst. While the immediate effects weren't dramatic, consistent use really paid off. The texture is a bit on the heavier side. In summer, when I applied it generously before makeup, it felt a tad rich on my skin. It's great for slathering on generously before bed and applying lightly in the morning.
