The product comes with three sets of two-part solutions. Mix one part 1 and one part 2 in the included green plastic container, then shake well. For short hair (the instructions say to shake 20-30 times, but I found less was fine too). I used a tail comb to apply it meticulously, though the instructions suggest using the provided gloves. After applying, wait about 30 minutes before rinsing. The color turned out better than expected. Being vegan, it's trustworthy, and despite containing potential allergens, it caused less itching and had a milder scent compared to other hair dyes. It's been 5 days since I used it, and so far, no blemishes. Color bleeding was minimal, only occurring on the first wash, and has stopped since. It was disappointing that the package only included one set of gloves and a plastic cap for application. While those with long hair might use all three sets of the two-part solution at once, it felt wasteful for those with shorter hair. Though the instructions recommend using the included gloves to apply the dye, I suggest using a tail comb for a more natural and thorough application if that's what you prefer.
