Longevity: No touch-ups required, it doesn't break down. Skin type: Not particularly drying even for dry skin, but if you want more hydration, try the glow cushion. Plus, the packaging is unique and pretty, and the puff is super bouncy!
ConsPersonally, I recommend choosing a shade lighter than your usual one.

The skin finish is absolutely beautiful! The staying power is great, and even when it starts to fade, it still looks pretty. It doesn't look cakey at all, just gives me a flawless, natural complexion as if my skin was always this good!
ConsAmong all the cushions I've tried, this case has the worst quality. It feels rickety when opening and closing, and the plastic seems cheaper than usual...
TipEven when applied thinly with controlled amount, the coverage is decent and it layers well!

I've finally found my holy grail cushion foundation. I've gone through 6 refills and have 3 cushion cases - that's how much I love it! The coverage is fantastic, and despite having dry skin, this matte cushion doesn't cake up at all. You'll understand once you try it, I promise! It's perfect for those with dry skin, giving you the best of both worlds. And if you have oily skin, you'll definitely love this matte finish!
ConsThe only downside is that some people have mentioned issues with the shade range. I can relate to that. Even though I have cool undertones, I prefer yellow-based foundations over pink-based ones. Despite being called 'Cover Vanilla', it feels like a mix of yellow-base with a hint of pink. However, I don't think it's a major issue. I just wish they'd revamp the color selection - that would be perfect!
TipFor those who experience darkening, try using a purple-tinted setting powder. It helps to brighten up your complexion and counteract any unwanted dark tones.

It's a perfect matte cushion for summer that doesn't cause deep dryness. The best part is it doesn't make my skin feel tight. I think it'll be usable even when my skin gets dry.
ConsThe downside is that it has less product and a smaller size compared to other cushions. Also, the case tends to attract dust easily.

It offers excellent coverage, doesn't pill, and doesn't dry out the skin (at least during application). The quantity is also generous compared to other cushions. I used to use Cl*o and Ba**ko cushions, but those would separate and clump immediately, which was disappointing. This cushion, however, seems to meld with the skin beautifully. It's incredibly satisfying to see it create a luminous glow as you apply it.
Cons1. Longevity could be better. I'm not sure if I need a better base or if it's incompatible with my concealer (Th* pot type), but after a few hours, it starts to separate... so frustrating! 2. The shade range is disappointing. The spectrum isn't very wide, and almost all shades have a slight yellow undertone with a hint of beige. 3. It's on the pricey side. It's certainly not cheap, so I couldn't justify buying it at full price. 4. The puff - I find it more comfortable to just replace it with the Espoir Be Glow puff.
TipYou can opt for a lighter shade without worry.

My go-to skincare routine usually keeps the dryness at bay for daily life. (However, if I skip my routine or switch products, I immediately feel the dryness.) I've had atopic dermatitis and have sensitive skin that's prone to irritation. I have dark spots and hyperpigmentation, and my skin is very thin with poor elasticity. This has led to visible enlarged pores across my T-zone and cheeks, as well as on my nose. While I've always had dry skin year-round, now that I'm in my mid-to-late 30s, this summer I've noticed my T-zone and cheeks becoming extremely oily day and night. It seems I've developed combination skin with extreme polarization. I decided to buy this cushion after seeing videos of dry skin YouTubers using it successfully. It seemed like the perfect summer option - easy to apply and touch up. Case: Since the case is the first thing you encounter, let's start there. Initially, I thought it looked a bit toy-like in photos, but in person it's actually quite cute. I don't usually care much about cosmetic packaging, but this design is clean with just a winking hologram effect as a point of interest. It doesn't feel childish or over-the-top. If this hologram design had Dior or YSL branding in the corner, I doubt many would hesitate to buy it at a premium price. In my opinion, if the only thing stopping you from using an otherwise high-quality product is feeling embarrassed about the design, even if it were from a luxury brand, then the design isn't really an issue. For example, if Chanel came out with an amazing product in a 'Secret Jouju' edition, you probably wouldn't use it because of the design, right? If it's not that extreme, it's fine. Color: I usually use shades 17-19, which match my skin tone well. I don't like overly brightening makeup, and any pinkness in base makeup immediately makes my face look ashy, dark, and dull. Based on YouTube comparisons, this product's shade 19 seemed to have the same brightness as other brands' 19, while 20 looked closer to my base color. When I tested 19 in person, it looked too dark and muddy on my skin, so I bought shade 20. On my skin, the yellow-based 20 was much brighter than 19. Using a base that matches your tone makes you look brighter overall. This product's colors run dark in general, so even if you have light skin, don't use 19. Using a shade that's not your base color can make you look darker, assuming the same level of brightness. The low brightness is a big drawback. The color itself is pretty, but it's not bright enough. Both 19 and 20 have low brightness. On my face, 20 feels similar to using the 'linen' shade in Cl*o base products. On days I use this product, I consistently get asked if I got a tan, so I've ended up not using it. Ease of Application: This cushion is easy to apply. Like the Jung*mul cushion, it has a palette for dispensing product, but even without using that, you can control the amount well by gently tapping the puff on the cushion sponge instead of pressing hard. It doesn't set too quickly, making it easy to apply, and you can build coverage gradually by tapping with small amounts. You can build up to high coverage, but if you keep your skin well-hydrated, you can achieve a beautiful finish without it feeling too heavy. It's easy enough for beginners to use. Dryness Level: About 30 minutes after application, I felt a slight inner dryness. Interestingly, unlike most products where this dryness persists all day, with the Wink Cushion, this feeling was brief. As my skin's natural oils came through, the dryness disappeared and my skin felt comfortable. Being extremely dry-skinned, I did notice very slight horizontal lines when smiling widely, but it's not as severe as with other semi-matte/matte finishes. Regular dry skin types should find it quite usable with proper skincare prep, and combination to oily skin types will likely love this cushion. Skin Finish: The reason I think combination and oily skin types will love this is because of its unique finish. Despite being semi-matte, the end result doesn't look semi-matte at all. As it mixes with your skin's natural oils, it develops a beautiful glow - a skin finish I've never seen before. It doesn't break down messily, but rather reveals what looks like naturally good skin. It wears down in a way that makes you look like you inherently have great skin. For those with oily skin who want a glow but can't use dewy products, this provides a controlled radiance that looks more beautiful as your natural oils come through. Dry skin types can aim for the semi-matte finish, while combination to oily types can enjoy the radiant effect. It's a versatile cushion for different skin types.
ConsLow Brightness and Limited Shade Range: As mentioned in the pros, while the color itself is pretty, the low brightness makes it appear dark. The shade range is limited and tends towards darker tones. This might be an advantage for those who usually find base makeup too light, but it made the product unusable for me despite liking it otherwise. I deducted one star for this issue. Settling into Fine Lines: This product tends to settle into fine lines a bit. While this might be expected from a semi-matte finish, it can make drier areas of the skin look visibly dehydrated, which is disappointing. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend it for those with thin skin. (I have thin skin myself.) Puff: The side of the puff that touches your hand is made of a somewhat stiff material - perhaps faux leather or vinyl - which can be uncomfortable to control. The side that touches your face is soft and fluffy, which seems to work well with the product's texture, but it made the product feel even drier on my skin. Also, the puff's strap is quite tight. It fits snugly around three fingers, which was comfortable for me as I have thin fingers, but might feel too tight for most people. That's why I've listed it as a con.
TipI recommend this for dry skin types with thicker skin, and for combination to oily skin types. For those with dry skin, finish with an oily skincare base and apply the cushion in small amounts for beautiful-looking skin.

I didn't apply it many times, but there's no deep dryness and it's pretty decent.
ConsMy face feels itchy and sensitive? When I remove my makeup, I notice my face has become red.

Plus, it hardly causes any dead skin cells to flake off and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry underneath!
ConsThe coverage isn't completely flawless, and there's a slight chance of dead skin cells flaking, so you need to make sure your skincare routine is on point before applying.
