So I was on the lookout for a more hydrating option when I discovered this product! After using it for a month, I can definitely say it's become a go-to because of its hydrating properties. While it might not completely remove heavy makeup, it's perfect for washing off sunscreen or as a second cleanse in your routine!
ConsThe cleansing effectiveness is somewhat weaker compared to brands like Senka or Mutenka. If you're looking to remove eyeliner, you might find the cleansing power a bit lacking. That's why I've been using this cleansing foam for my morning cleanse!
TipThere's a saying that you only need to rinse with water for your morning cleanse. I was looking for a gentle cleansing option that wouldn't irritate my skin, and this product fits the bill perfectly!

I even use it in the morning.
ConsIt doesn't seem to completely remove waterproof or heavy makeup.

I've been worried about blemishes lately, but this product contains cica ingredients which seem to be helping. The texture is a bit thick and rich, but it rinses off well, so I'm satisfied!!!
ConsWhile it removes sunscreen, it doesn't cleanse makeup very well. Double cleansing is a must for lip or eye makeup.
TipIt's great for morning cleansing and also perfect for evening cleansing when you've only applied sunscreen without makeup. In my case, I massage it in for a while when cleansing, rolling it around. This gives a nice massage effect and cleanses well! The gentle cica ingredients are non-irritating and seem to help with blemish-prone skin.

Cons✓ It doesn't remove waterproof products at all It completely fails to remove waterproof makeup like mascara Lastly, this is more of a personal preference than a downside, but the product opening is too narrow... Also, since it's a lightweight formula, it's a bit disappointing that it doesn't create rich, dense foam

The light green cream has brown specks of peppermint leaf powder, which you can feel when lathering in your hands. However, it doesn't feel abrasive on your face like a scrub. As a fragrance-free, gentle formula, it doesn't have any noticeable scent.
ConsBeing a low pH cleanser, it doesn't produce as much foam. Instead of feeling squeaky clean, it leaves a slightly slippery sensation when washing. In a cleansing effectiveness test, it removed sunscreen and brightening moisturizer well, but struggled with heavy makeup. You might need to double cleanse for a thorough removal.
TipSince it doesn't strip your skin of moisture completely, it could be a great option for your morning cleanse.

It has a rich texture with a subtle, barely noticeable scent. There are small particles in the cleanser - those are peppermint leaves! 🌿 With Centella Asiatica extract and peppermint leaves, I think this product could have a soothing effect on blemish-prone skin. Compared to other brands, it doesn't strip away as much moisture after cleansing, so you won't feel that tight, dry sensation. After a light outing where you've only applied sunscreen, I recommend using this gentle low pH cleanser instead of a harsh cleanser that might be too heavy.
ConsSince it's a low pH product that can remove sunscreen, for full makeup including waterproof products, concealer, and mascara, I recommend using an oil cleanser first, then following up with this as your second cleanse.
TipFor dehydrated, blemish-prone, and super sensitive skin: I recommend trying a low pH cleanser. Regular cleansers with high levels of surfactants can strip away more moisture from your skin after use, leading to a cycle of dryness, excess oil production, and sensitivity. Why not give a low pH product a try to help maintain your skin's moisture balance?

I received the product on March 5th and used it for about two weeks until March 18th. Before diving into the review, let me introduce myself briefly: I'm a man in my 30s with dry skin. I usually wear light makeup like base, lip color, and blush when going out. For my skincare routine, I use a gentle low pH cleansing foam in the morning, and in the evening, I double cleanse with an oil cleanser followed by a foam cleanser. During the testing period, I often used cleansing tissues for my first cleanse, followed by this foam cleanser. I used this product for my morning cleanse and as the second step in my evening double cleanse. Before discussing pros and cons, let me describe the texture. When squeezing it out of the tube, it feels a bit stiffer than expected. You need to apply some pressure to get the cleanser out. The initial texture feels slightly grainy rather than smooth. (It's not as rough as rubbing powder, though.) However, as you start to lather it, it feels like the hydration is bursting out. It gives the sensation of using a moisturizing, low pH cleansing foam. When using a cleansing foam, I focus on three main factors: first, the level of irritation; second, how dry my skin feels after cleansing; and third, the richness of the lather. While my skin isn't extremely sensitive, I tend to avoid products that are too drying due to my dry skin type. So, I evaluated this product based on these three criteria. Let's start with the advantages. First, it's less drying. Initially, when I saw the product coming out of the tube and its texture, I thought, 'This might be more drying than I expected.' However, true to its name, once you start lathering, it suddenly feels very hydrating. It feels incredibly moisturizing when working up a lather in your hands or massaging it onto your face. As a result, my skin didn't feel tight at all after cleansing. Second, it produces a rich lather and is gentle on the skin. While the initial texture from the tube seems a bit grainy, it becomes very hydrating as you start to lather it. It also creates a very rich foam. Although the amount of cleanser in the photo is small, and some foam washed away while I was cleaning my other hand to take the picture, it seems to lather better than other cleansing foams. This contributes to its gentleness on the skin. The abundant moisture and rich lather seem to reduce friction between the foam and skin, and my face feels so hydrated after cleansing that it seems less irritated.
ConsNow, let's discuss the drawbacks. There aren't many significant cons, but if I had to point out one, it would be its relatively weak cleansing power. As someone who wears base makeup and light color cosmetics, I find its cleansing effectiveness a bit lacking when used alone. Of course, expecting a foam cleanser to remove all makeup might be asking too much, but even setting that aside, I don't think its cleansing power is particularly strong. Therefore, I believe it's a suitable product for a gentle morning cleanse.
TipOverall impression: Personally, I'm satisfied with this cleansing foam. However, in a market where there are so many excellent cleansing foams available, it's a bit disappointing that this one doesn't have any standout features. Still, it's affordably priced, making it a good choice for those looking for a budget-friendly cleansing foam! I'd rate it 4.6 out of 5.

Scent and Texture It has a subtle fragrance, almost unscented. There's no artificial smell. It contains small particles, which seem to be herb leaves rather than microplastics. While barely noticeable on the skin, they may provide a gentle exfoliation effect for dead skin cells! 2. Gentle Low pH, Great for Skin Hydration! Unlike some cleansers that can cause a burning sensation or tingling during your skincare routine, this product doesn't irritate at all, which is very satisfying. Compared to other products, it also leaves your skin feeling less tight after cleansing! 3. Lather For a low pH foam cleanser, it produces a good amount of lather!
ConsThere aren't any major drawbacks. If I had to mention something: 1. The small size...? 2. You'll definitely need a second cleanse for makeup and waterproof sunscreen!
TipIt seems perfect as a gentle daily foam cleanser.

It allows for a gentle cleansing experience, similar to using a cream. With proper emulsification, it provides a thorough cleanse. It's suitable for removing light makeup like sunscreen without causing dryness. Even those with sensitive skin can use it without fear of blemishes. A small amount goes a long way when lathered with water, making it last longer. It's perfect for those who dislike residue after cleansing. The scent is mild enough for sensitive noses, though some may have mixed feelings about its subtle fragrance. The tube packaging allows for easy dispensing and hygienic use. It's gentle on the eyes, allowing you to keep them open during use.
ConsFor extremely dry skin, it may cause immediate dryness after cleansing. Those prone to facial redness should use it cautiously and only when skin is in good condition. It's not sufficient for removing full makeup on its own - double cleansing is necessary. While it's on the pricier side, look out for sales on Hwahae for better deals.

The amount that comes out when you squeeze it is just right - they've clearly put thought into making sure you don't waste product. The foam is incredibly light, which I love! Unlike other cleansers that leave your skin feeling dry, this one leaves your skin feeling moisturized and soft. The light foam seems to absorb well into the skin, leaving it so hydrated that I almost forgot I needed to do the rest of my skincare routine! As it's marketed as a 'Light Foam Cleanser', it's gentle enough that I think it would be perfect for those with blemishes or super sensitive skin.
ConsIf I had to point out a downside... While it's not an issue for me as I do a double cleanse, starting with a water-based cleanser, I wouldn't recommend this for those who only do a single cleanse. When I tested it, it didn't thoroughly remove eye makeup, especially mascara. I think this is because the foam is so light and thin.
TipThat's why I'd recommend using this as a second cleanse or as a morning cleanser. I particularly love using it in the morning! If you want a fresh, clean feeling to start your day, I highly recommend this. It's not heavy at all and is formulated to be incredibly gentle, making it suitable even for sensitive skin. It's non-irritating and feels great!
