  Pros

  It feels incredibly moisturizing when applied and absorbs beautifully, but after a while, it sets to a completely matte finish! The staying power is impressive, and the color is so gorgeous that I emptied a whole tube in just a month or two. I'm planning to try out other shades as well.

  Cons

  While it's nice that it dries down to a matte finish, it might feel a bit too drying for some because it's extremely matte. Those with a lot of dead skin cells on their lips might want to avoid this. It also seems to slightly accentuate lip lines.

  Once applied, it has excellent staying power, living up to its name by remaining intact even after eating. It's not difficult to blend either - it applies smoothly at first, creating an ideal base for blending. After a brief moment, it sets nicely, making it perfect as a base layer.

  Cons

  If your lips aren't in great condition, it can settle into fine lines, resulting in an uneven application. Also, it does transfer a bit.

  Tip

  This shade gives a cooler effect than expected when applied. For those seeking a base with a slightly warmer undertone, I'd recommend trying Midnight Mauve.
