It's a well-balanced formula that's neither sticky nor drying. It absorbs quickly, making it easy to layer without any issues. On days when I'm feeling lazy, I can just apply this and my skin doesn't feel dry. While it might not be enough on its own for winter, I've found it hard to find a serum that's this perfectly balanced - not too much, not too little. It's truly the basic serum type I've been looking for.
ConsThe pump dispenser makes it convenient to use, but the slightly runny texture causes it to splash around the opening, so you need to wipe it clean regularly. The biggest drawback, however, is the fragrance. I really don't like it. It's not like the pleasant scents in modern cosmetics. Although the smell seems to dissipate quickly, every time I apply it, I think 'this isn't right'. When used with other skincare products, the scent clashes terribly - it's like trying to mix oil and water.

Here's what I found: Texture and application: It's a lightweight serum. When squeezed onto the back of your hand, it's so fluid it could drip off. Despite its thin consistency, it feels hydrating without being sticky, leaving a fresh finish. Caudalie serums generally seem to have good absorption and a moisturizing effect. Packaging: Unlike other Caudalie ampoules that come with droppers, this one has a pump dispenser, which I found convenient. There's no separate cap, but you can twist it to lock, making it great for travel. Blemishes: I'm prone to acne in my T-zone when pores get clogged, but I haven't experienced any breakouts or redness with this. There was no stinging or burning sensation after application either. It doesn't seem to irritate acne-prone skin. While it's marketed as anti-aging, I haven't noticed any significant changes yet due to the short period of use. Personally, I think I preferred the Radiance Serum.
ConsScent: When first pumped, there's a slight herbal medicinal scent, reminiscent of traditional Asian skincare products. Although the fragrance dissipates quickly and isn't too bothersome, it's not particularly pleasant. Those sensitive to fragrances might find it challenging to use.
