It absorbs lightly without any stickiness. What's most impressive is that when applied, it feels like it's filling from deep within rather than just moisturizing the surface, making even smile lines seem less noticeable. Plus, it's amazing how makeup doesn't pill over it after applying serum. I'm definitely looking to repurchase! The scent isn't particularly pleasant. And the quantity isn't very generous. After using it as a base, you can apply makeup right away without any pilling or breakdown. ▷ Scent ●●●◐○ It has that unique Caudalie fragrance, which isn't overpowering. Personally, I love it, but some might not be fans. ▷ Absorption ●●●●● It doesn't sit on the surface but immediately sinks in, leaving your skin feeling fresh the next morning. A little goes a long way. After using it for a week, thanks to the patented resveratrol, hyaluronic acid, and collagen ingredients, my skin texture improved and somehow felt increasingly supple. After toning, I apply a thin layer of this, followed by my usual cream or emulsion. The result? A moisturized and refreshed feeling! Although I had to reapply a few times due to the changing seasons, it's not bad considering it's a serum. I love how it goes from moisturizing to silky smooth, and with a scent to match, it feels like a skincare version of a powder compact overall! The fragrance is somewhat reminiscent of a powder compact... While it's not particularly unpleasant, I found the lingering scent a bit disappointing. I was expecting it to be thicker since it's called a lifting serum, but I was surprised by how runny it was when I first pumped it out. Because of this, it absorbs incredibly fast! ✔️ Due to its quick absorption, there's no pilling or issues when applying makeup right after using it in the morning! ✔️ The finish after absorption is fantastic! Right after it sinks in, there's a firm feeling, but after a short while, the skin surface feels silky smooth. ✔️ Since I'm writing this review after only a week of use, I haven't seen dramatic lifting effects, but it definitely makes me want to keep using it consistently. ✔️ I was expecting a berry scent since it's made with patented grapevine ingredients, but when I first smelled it, I was taken aback by a mix of berry and a slight plastic scent. However, after applying it, the lingering fragrance - if I can call it that - is a subtle, luxurious scent once the serum is absorbed! You just need to get past the initial scent when applying! Everything else was great, but I deducted one star because of this aspect.
