Being a soothing cushion, the ingredients seem good, and it's nice for a light application. As time passes, it fades away naturally. Plus, the case is really pretty.
ConsFor someone like me who fluctuates between shades 22 and 21, it was a bit dark. The color is slightly deep with an orange undertone, which is disappointing.

I'm a loyal user of the calming serum cushion. My skin is so sensitive that it can react badly when I switch products, so I rarely change my skincare routine. When I first tried this soothing cushion, I noticed fewer breakouts compared to other products, and it felt lightweight when applied. That's why I've been sticking with this calming serum cushion ever since!
ConsIf I had to point out a downside, it's that the coverage is not as good as some other products. If you're looking for high coverage, I'd recommend something like Clio's Kill Cover or other similar products.
TipFor areas where you want more coverage, I suggest applying concealer before using the cushion. That should work well!

The cooling effect is amazing! Besides that, there wasn't much else to praise, unfortunately. (To be honest, I bought this product almost as soon as it was released, but after using it a few times, I really felt it wasn't for me, so I'm writing this review... I don't understand why people around me were raving about it so much...)
ConsI used to really love Clio cushion products! (Especially the Kill Cover line...) I loved their discontinued stamp-like cushion, concealer cushion, Founwear cushion, and glow cushion... But this product seems to be the worst of the worst among all the Clio products I've tried (at least for my skin). It's the most disappointing in the Clio cushion line... ✔️ Skin appearance: At first, I thought 'Wow! It applies thinly, so it won't lift or pill even after some time!' But really, after just an hour, my face was a mess with lifting... For me, it was almost like wearing makeup right after a laser treatment at the dermatologist when your skin isn't in the best condition. It really looked messy... Especially on days when I wore a mask for a long time, the pilling and emphasized pores were so severe that I was shocked and immediately went to an offline store to buy cleansing tissues and just went bare-faced... ✔️ Dryness: Initially, I thought 'Well, it applies thinly and has soothing ingredients, so it probably won't be too drying!' But I was shocked by how severe the deep dryness was... Personally, I've felt that Clio cushions generally caused some deep dryness for my skin, but even with a solid skincare routine, this product made my face feel so tight it was really uncomfortable... ✔️ Soothing: After using this product a few times, I actually got more small bumps on my forehead, so I eventually stopped using it... ✔️ Coverage: The coverage was extremely disappointing

First off, it doesn't completely hide all blackheads, but it definitely covers the sides of my nose well. There's no emphasis on dead skin cells! I loved how lightweight it felt, as if I wasn't wearing anything. It also doesn't transfer to masks, which is a godsend during these times. The color is pretty and it applies thinly! The coverage was amazing. I liked that it covered well without being thick! While it didn't perfectly conceal blemishes, it didn't make my skin look dirty. Usually when I apply foundation or concealer, it tends to flake off later, but this doesn't do that - even when it fades, it does so beautifully. I bought it during a sale and got a refill too, which was great. I think I'll be using this for a long time! For pores, if you want a flawless skin look, I'd recommend using a primer. If you have a lot of blackheads or large pores on your nose and want to completely cover them, I'd suggest not buying this. However, it does cover well when used with a concealer! Just not on its own.
ConsWhile I said I have combination dehydrated skin, I'm still on the oily side. So even though it's moisturizing and not drying, the oil still comes through. However, I personally like how it gives a dewy glow when it fades! If you don't like this kind of fading, I wouldn't recommend it. The color is a miss for me. I feel like I could have gone one shade lighter? I prefer a natural look and don't like brightening moisturizers. I don't like looking too made-up, but this shade was a bit light for me. If you're a cool-toned 21 and want a natural look that matches your skin tone, I'd recommend going one shade darker than Linen.

While it may not hide major blemishes, the current trend is all about natural-looking coverage, right? I'm satisfied with its concealing power. Plus, it feels light and breathable on the skin, not heavy at all. I also appreciate that it doesn't transfer much onto my mask.
ConsI'm wondering if the Linen shade is supposed to be this light. As time passes, it does darken a bit and blends more naturally with my skin tone, but initially, it looks quite bright when applied. It's less natural-looking and gives more of a pale, ghostly effect. I think choosing a shade one tone darker might result in a more natural finish.

This was absolutely amazing ❣️ I've been having a lot of small bumps all over my face lately. While these are slightly noticeable, I think it's more about my underlying skin condition, so I'll be visiting a dermatologist. ✔️ Color I have a warm undertone and usually use shade 21 or 22 for a natural look. The Linen shade is slightly light - good thing I didn't go for Ivory! ✔️ Smooth skin finish Although I have combination dehydrated skin, I prefer a dewy, slightly glossy finish over matte It makes my skin texture look pretty with a subtle glow I didn't experience any dryness ✔️ Fading & transfer As time passes, it fades away cleanly rather than breaking down, so reapplication is no problem! Transfer seems minimal, probably because it applies so thinly ✔️ Ingredients I've been sensitive about ingredients lately due to frequent breakouts This one gives me peace of mind Recently, I've found that products with good ingredients often have sun cushion-level coverage, which I don't want. I've been searching reviews for ages without finding anything satisfactory. This cushion, however, I'm happy with!
Cons❌ Accentuates small bumps Perfect coverage is impossible due to the thin application If you have many small bumps, they might be noticeable But I'm satisfied with the thin application, and I should focus on calming my skin first ❌ Fingerprints on case The case is pretty! But it easily collects fingerprints and can look messy No other complaints, I really like it
TipI'm always trying different cushions, but after searching through many recently, I'm so pleased with how this one makes my skin look that I'll keep using it for now!

I wasn't a fan of the Kill Cover cushion because it felt a bit heavy, but I think I'll be sticking with this one.
ConsWhile it's called Kill Cover, the coverage is just so-so. But personally, I liked it.

(Combination dehydrated in winter) My skin has lots of pores and excess sebum. While I didn't expect much in terms of soothing effects from this so-called 'calming cushion', I'm happy to report it didn't cause any blemishes! The product itself was lighter than I expected, making it convenient to carry around. I also appreciated the minimal packaging. As for coverage, true to its 'Kill Cover' name, even a small amount effectively conceals most freckles! I'd recommend this more for those with normal to dry skin rather than extremely oily skin like mine!
ConsThe puff is quite dense (be careful not to apply too much pressure or it'll leave marks). However, since the cushion formula isn't matte, it's not an ideal combination. Initially, it applies with a nice dewy finish that's not too matte. But for someone with extremely oily skin like me, it soon mixes with the oil my skin produces, making me want to wash my face sooner rather than later.

The case is pretty, and they even included a free pouch, which makes it great value. Compared to other Clio cushions, the coverage isn't super high, but I appreciate its lightweight formula and how it sets without caking up.
ConsTo minimize transfer onto masks, I apply it thinly. The coverage seems a bit weak compared to concealer cushions.

Application: Unlike other cushions, it feels incredibly thin and lightweight when applied. The natural finish was immediately noticeable, and it felt like it adhered well to my skin. The fragrance was also very pleasant - not artificial at all! Puff: The puff is super soft and squishy. Its teardrop shape makes it easy to apply product to tricky areas like around the nose, and it blends seamlessly. Coverage: Despite its lightweight feel, it manages to cover minor blemishes, though it struggles with more prominent ones. Tone: The shade seemed quite bright compared to my usual tone. Highly recommended for those who prefer a yellow-based foundation!
ConsSkin condition after 12 hours: Despite being exposed to heater air all day, I didn't experience any dryness or deep dryness. However, I noticed some slight pilling around the nose and T-zone (even with thorough skincare). Upon closer inspection, there was also minimal pilling on the cheeks. There's almost no product buildup around the nose. Unlike other cushions that feel heavy and make you want to remove them after extended wear or under a mask, this one still feels light and comfortable even after 12 hours! As for makeup breakdown, while the surface became slightly oily, it seemed to fade gracefully.
TipPro tip: For those who struggle with product control, start with a light touch and build up gradually! For flawless skin all day, especially in winter, it's crucial to apply skincare products like toner and emulsion thoroughly before using the cushion. A light dusting of powder after application also seemed to improve longevity slightly. Since the coverage isn't dramatically high, using a concealer is essential for larger blemishes. With its decent longevity and good adherence, this cushion seems perfect for use with masks in our current pandemic situation.
