The scent is relaxing without being overpowering, which I really appreciate. It has a chamomile-like fragrance. The color is a light, pale dove grey. It spreads easily and smoothly when applied. After thoroughly wetting your hair with lukewarm water, section it, apply the product, leave it on for about 10 minutes, then gently massage and rinse off before shampooing. It seems to soothe the scalp. Also, when rinsing, it leaves the hair soft and tangle-free, as if you've used a conditioner. There are various scalp packs on the market, but I dislike products with granules (they might cleanse well, but they can irritate and dry out the scalp) and foaming exfoliants that don't require shampooing afterwards (because they leave the hair feeling stiff after rinsing). The Olipass scalp pack is great because it's applied gently without irritation just before shampooing, and leaves the hair soft when rinsed off. I've tried this brand's shampoo before, and personally, it didn't meet my expectations, which lowered my opinion of the brand (I remember it left my hair feeling too dry and stiff). However, this scalp pack and tonic seem pretty good. (After ordering for the second time and checking the ingredient list on the box, I'm updating my review.) They've added ethanol to the ingredients. This wasn't there before... I really liked using it, which is why I repurchased, but to see the formula change in 1-2 years is disappointing. I haven't used it yet, but I'm hoping there won't be any issues. I'm a bit worried about the ingredients now. I'll decide whether to repurchase after trying it. I wonder if the formulator is a man? If it were a woman, she'd probably know better and wouldn't add ingredients like ethanol... The change in ingredients is really unfortunate. The price: While it's not extremely expensive, it's still a bit of a burden. You tend to use scalp packs quite liberally, and I use it at least two or three times a week. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedSep 7, 2021
I urgently bought this after another product irritated my scalp. I used up the entire bottle and found it to be gentler and more reasonably priced compared to other brands. It worked well for me. As it's a treatment product, it's not exactly cheap. I heard it's beneficial to use this with a scalp scaler and mask. I followed that routine once a week. - 15******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 25, 2021
Great for soothing the scalp. It really helped my sensitive scalp. Leaving it on for 5 to 10 minutes works even better. Surprisingly, despite being a scalp pack, it also made my hair feel soft and silky, which was a nice bonus. It feels like it gets used up quickly. I'm not sure how much I should be applying each time, which makes it seem like there's not enough product for the price. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedNov 10, 2020
When I use this before shampooing and wait about 3 minutes, it's amazing! I used to have an oily scalp that didn't lather well, making a pre-wash necessary. But now, I can cleanse effectively without that extra step! The formula requires wetting your hair first, which makes it tricky to gauge how much product you're actually applying. That's a bit frustrating. I love how I can apply it to damp hair, leave it on while I brush my teeth, and get a quick scalp care routine that fits perfectly into my schedule. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 21, 2019
This pre-shampoo treatment is applied to wet scalp and rinsed before shampooing. It's amazing how it prevents tangles and actually leaves your hair feeling softer during the wash. It's a bit tricky to control the amount you use, which often leads to using more product than necessary.
