This essence has a much higher viscosity than ampoules or serums, but it's thinner and lighter than creams, spreading easily and thinly. With its ceramide content, it seems to be effective for hydration. When first applied, you don't immediately feel anything special - it's just a moisturizing, gentle, and fragrance-free hydrator. However, it's from Torriden, my absolute favorite brand, and the reviews are quite good... I'll trust it and use it consistently. I've been using it for almost a month now. My routine involves applying various hydrating and brightening serums, then covering everything with this essence, followed immediately by a moisturizing cream. There was a noticeable difference between days when I used it and days when I didn't. While I'm well aware of Tori's fame, I haven't been using it because hyaluronic acid doesn't really agree with me. But I purchased this essence as a summer product since I love the ceramide formula and it seems lightweight. There's no greasy or oily feel from the ceramides, and the application is light and smooth. It's a great essence formula for summer - it absorbs well into the skin without any residue or stickiness, so I'm quite satisfied. The packaging is also convenient, with a narrow opening that makes it easy to use. And there's no issue with makeup sliding off!
Cons
I wish I could squeeze out every last drop, but the packaging is made of rigid plastic. I think a softer, more malleable plastic would be even better.
