This is my first time trying a water tint, and its staying power is definitely better than regular tints. It's perfect for the outer edges when creating a gradient lip, and it blends beautifully with other types of tints for a lovely color payoff. The only potential downside I can think of is that it's a bit on the pricier side. - xe********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedFeb 25, 2025
This was my first lip tint, a gift from my cousin. I really like it! The color applies quite intensely, so use just a little. The design is prettier than I expected. It applies way too intensely, oh no! In that case, try applying just a tiny dab and blend it quickly. That should work better! - ji*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 14, 2024
The color payoff is great and it absorbs so well that I keep using it. I've finished one tube and I'm already using my next one. It can feel a bit drying when applied, so it's best to use it with a lip balm. - ar****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedOct 18, 2024
The staying power is impressive. The color is vibrant and absolutely gorgeous. It doesn't easily come off even after eating. One application can last up to 5 hours. It can cause some dead skin cells to flake. It's best to apply it along with a lip balm. - ch*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 1, 2024
The Benefit Cha Cha Tint brings back memories of high school days when everyone had one! I tried the Love Tint shade. It's a vibrant red that seems suitable for both warm and cool skin tones. The applicator tip is designed for easy application. It's a completely clear liquid type, but the color is so intense that if you apply it full-on, you could easily achieve that 2000s ajumma makeup look! Even when I use the tip and pat it in, it doesn't blend into a pretty gradient easily, so I've been using a cotton swab to apply it. It stains well too. I applied it to the back of my hand and scrubbed it with soapy water, and it still left a noticeable tint. It lasts quite a while, so it might be useful for trips to water parks in this hot weather. The color is too vibrant. It has such a strong fluorescent undertone that it looks a bit tacky, so I'm applying just a tiny amount. The formula and longevity are good though. - so********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 2, 2024
No matter what other products I try, I always end up coming back to Benefit's tint. I prefer tints over lipsticks or lip glosses because they're cleaner, longer-lasting, and the color adheres perfectly to my lips, which I love. As someone with cool undertones, clear reds or slightly pinkish reds suit me well, and this product's shade is just right! Plus, the amount lasts much longer than I expected! There's not much to complain about! Since it's a tint, if your lips are a bit dry or have dead skin cells, it's best to apply some lip balm along with it! - i7******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 4, 2024
It looks pretty when applied as a full lip color, and it's also great for creating a gradient effect. This could be seen as both a pro and a con, but the color tends to stain quite quickly. - lo****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsMar 26, 2024
The color payoff is intense and it absorbs instantly into the lips, showing excellent absorption It accentuates dead skin cells too much, so I only use it once. As time passes, it becomes patchy - ps*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJan 5, 2024
My go-to lip tint for that perfect finish! I only use red shades, and this one has the most beautiful color. Just swipe it on once and press your lips together for a natural look. For a bolder effect, tap it on two or three times, then blend with your finger. Use the excess on your cheeks as a blush, and you'll look full of life! Minor issues? A bit of product around the opening, and the price. But the gorgeous color makes it all worth it! Tap it on your lips, tap it on your cheeks! Surprisingly long-lasting too. - 38*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 18, 2023
For a tint, the ingredients are surprisingly good. That's why I always went for Benefit's tints. I'm still using them now. As a cool-toned person, the pure red without any pink undertones was tricky to wear. I've tried all of Benefit's tints, but this shade suited me the least, so I didn't use it very often.
