This is the ultimate cushion for oily skin types! I've been using NewSkin cushions for a while, but they just didn't work for my extremely oily skin. First, I think my skin type is either normal or combination. I didn't realize there was a new version out, so I bought this product, and here's my review after using it today! Overall, I absolutely loved it! After applying my skin emulsion and cream, I heard it could be quite matte, so I kept spraying my Dalba mist on the puff while applying. I don't have much to cover, but I do have some pore issues on my nose, and this covers them well! I'm really impressed with that aspect. I had some sweaty activities today, but when I got home, my skin still felt fresh. When I noticed a bit of oil coming through, I just lightly pressed with this cushion, and the excess oil disappeared instantly, leaving my skin feeling fresh for hours. Even though I've only used it for a day, I think it suits me well. Plus, the design is absolutely gorgeous. It seems perfect for summer use. Even with heavy sweating, it doesn't break down easily. As long as you prep your skin well with skincare and hydration, it doesn't cake up. However, it might be difficult to use in winter. I applied my makeup around 10 AM and got home around 11 PM, and only my forehead was slightly patchy. For me, that's satisfactory enough. If you have combination skin, this works great on the T-zone. If you have oily skin, definitely give it a try! The coverage is really impressive and it applies thinly and evenly. Maybe because I have combination skin, but I found it quite drying on my cheeks. It also caused more darkening than I expected. For those with combination skin, I recommend applying extra cream on your cheeks before using this product.

As a middle schooler trying cushion foundation for the first time, I think it's not bad at all. To be honest, I don't know much about makeup... If you apply it thinly, it's barely noticeable, so I can wear it to school without getting caught! It transfers a bit onto my mask. When I apply it in the morning, add powder, and go to school then to academy, I notice some transfer on my mask. As someone with oily skin, I really liked that this cushion wasn't too matte. It seems to hold up better than other cushions without breaking down. While it might be a bit dry in winter, I'm very satisfied with it for summer and in this mask-wearing world we're living in! Rather than a downside, I'd say that since it's a matte formula, it's best to be thorough with your skincare routine! Otherwise, you might feel your face getting very dry. The coverage is better than other products. It stays put well without needing touch-ups. There's some pilling if you apply too much skincare underneath. I usually use shade 21, but this one is a bit lighter.
