This is ideal for those with deep undertones, but even cool-toned individuals can use it as a base to some extent. While it leans warm, which didn't make me reach for it often, it looks beautiful when paired with a cool-toned lip as an accent. The color is very light, but it stains quite intensely, making it difficult to remove. - ti**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 30, 2024
I bought this online in a different shade as part of a buy-one-get-one-free deal, and I absolutely love this color too! It's the perfect My Lips But Better shade. It's a bit drying, and after some time, it tends to settle into lip lines and create a 'yogurt effect'. - 9b********Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 26, 2023
The color is perfect for fall and winter - it's such a lovely, subdued shade. I love how it looks natural and beautiful without being too bright or flashy. As mentioned in other reviews, it does get sticky when you apply more than one layer. Also, when used with other products, the stickiness remains, so it might be best to use this on its own. Here's a pro tip to reduce stickiness: once it's dried, gently press a tissue over your lips to remove the excess tackiness. This way, you can enjoy using it without worrying about the drawback! - qu****Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedSep 14, 2023
The color is beautiful. It's perfect as a base and gives that effortless chic look. Since I have pale lips, it was great for a light application. There's hardly any staining too. The color is quite light, so applying just one layer isn't noticeable. The color payoff might vary significantly depending on your natural lip color. It's ideal to use as a base lip color in various ways. - sh*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedAug 23, 2023
I absolutely loved the coral vibe! The color is so pretty While the staying power isn't particularly long, I still use it because the color is so beautiful - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 3, 2023
The color is absolutely gorgeous! With the right amount applied, you can create a beautiful lip look. The application is smooth and effortless. As a water tint, it glides on softly and adheres to your lips with a vibrant stain. The design is fantastic too. It's the perfect size to fit comfortably in your hand, making it super portable. Plus, the packaging is really attractive. There are no downsides. It's truly become my go-to daily item that I absolutely adore using. - sk*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 19, 2023
I was so curious about the water velvet formula that I ended up buying all the colors! While I loved how Pia's regular tints had great color payoff and intensity, these water tints have a softer, more delicate look. The shades are perfect for summer - so pretty! Rather than becoming more intense with multiple applications, the color seems to set and sit on top of the lips. It looks best with just one application. For touch-ups, it's better to remove and reapply rather than layering. Unfortunately, that's a bit of a hassle. - im****Combination SkinAcne SkinJun 9, 2023
I've been really into natural makeup lately, so I decided to give this a try. When applied, it gives a beautifully natural look. If you layer it on, it can look a bit chalky. When I try to blend it for a slight gradient effect, it pills up like dead skin cells. For best results, apply a thin layer and avoid excessive blending. - de**Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 6, 2022
It truly lives up to its name as a velvet tint, with a satisfyingly soft and powdery finish As I tend to have dry lips, it slightly accentuated the dead skin cells, which was a bit disappointing - ja*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 3, 2022
Adhesion: Excellent Longevity: Excellent Application: Excellent No dead skin cell accentuation This has become my favorite lip product. I usually prefer moisturizing formulas and haven't used many matte ones lately, but these days I find myself reaching for the Water Velvet Tint all the time. True to its name, it's a water velvet. It applies glossy at first, but after a quick 'mwah' sound, it surprisingly sets to a soft matte finish. It doesn't transfer when you touch it! However, if you apply too much, it might transfer a little. Anyway, it didn't come off even after eating. It does seem to fade when drinking water or other liquids, and it came off when brushing my teeth. The reason I usually dislike matte lips is because I have severe dead skin cells on my lips, and no matter how good a product claims to be, I can never seem to manage it due to the flakiness. But the Water Velvet Tint applies so moisturizing that it seeps into the cracks between dead skin cells from the start, subduing them as it's applied, so there's no accentuation of flakiness! There's truly no reason not to buy this product. It comes off easily when it comes into contact with water, including saliva. But since I touch up after eating anyway, it's not a big issue!
