The shade was a bit light for me. It seems Espoir foundations and cushions generally run lighter. As a 21 shade user, I'd recommend going one shade darker if you're considering this. For my combination skin, the darkening wasn't bad and was actually quite moderate. The staying power was good too. But the best part? It doesn't cake up - that's its biggest advantage. Along with Hera, this was one of the best brands I've tried. It's too light and there's a slight darkening effect. If you have an oily T-zone, especially around the nose, it tends to separate there. I wouldn't recommend applying it around the sides of your nose either. The fragrance is lovely, and the adherence and coverage are absolutely fantastic! Even though I have sensitive skin, I'm using it without issues, and it covers all my redness perfectly. Like all foundations, the opening tends to get messy quite often.
