The shade was a bit light for me. It seems Espoir foundations and cushions generally run lighter. As a 21 shade user, I'd recommend going one shade darker if you're considering this. For my combination skin, the darkening wasn't bad and was actually quite moderate. The staying power was good too. But the best part? It doesn't cake up - that's its biggest advantage. Along with Hera, this was one of the best brands I've tried. It's too light and there's a slight darkening effect. If you have an oily T-zone, especially around the nose, it tends to separate there. I wouldn't recommend applying it around the sides of your nose either. It's better to just cover those areas with concealer instead. - sy******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedJun 22, 2025
The fragrance is lovely, and the adherence and coverage are absolutely fantastic! Even though I have sensitive skin, I'm using it without issues, and it covers all my redness perfectly. Like all foundations, the opening tends to get messy quite often. - fc********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 14, 2025
The coverage is great, and as my first foundation, I've really enjoyed using it. Although it's not a puff but a pump-type, which makes controlling the amount a bit tricky, it's still quite usable. While the coverage is good, it does tend to settle into fine lines. After wearing it for a while, you'll notice it creasing in wrinkles. That's why I don't use this alone anymore - I mix it with other products for a lighter, brighter finish. - hy****Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 7, 2025
It adheres thinly and evenly to the skin with impressive coverage that's medium to high. It makes your skin look fantastic! Highly recommended for oily and combination skin types. The base has a slightly grayish tint, and on days when I haven't properly done my skincare routine, it tends to darken a bit on my skin. - wh*********Oily SkinRecommendedJun 5, 2025
The amount is generous, and it offers excellent coverage and adherence. It's not pink-toned but more of an ivory shade, which is great for warm-toned individuals as it doesn't make you look ashy. I exclusively use this product. There's nothing really bad to mention. If I had to nitpick, the lid tends to come loose after prolonged use, causing the product to spill in my bag. - kc*****Normal SkinRecommendedJun 3, 2025
I really liked the semi-matte finish - it looks so clean and polished! I use compacts often, so I decided to give this one a try. It can occasionally look a bit cakey. Also, the amount of product seems a bit small. The texture is slightly thick. - fj********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 30, 2025
As someone with oily skin, I found this product great to use! The coverage was quite impressive! Unfortunately, it caused some blemishes and the darkening effect became more noticeable over time, which was a bit disappointing... - du*********Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 15, 2025
I tried it as a sample, and it is matte, doesn't crumble, and has a relatively diverse range of colors compared to domestic foundations. I'd recommend it for oily skin types!! But not for dry skin. These days, semi-matte products are doing well, but this item is quite matte and sets quickly, which can make it difficult to control. Moisturize the base thoroughly, and after completely absorbing the base and sunscreen, use only a small amount. Compared to other companies' products, the color is much brighter. - ze*****Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 10, 2025
It applies lightly and adheres well to the skin. While the coverage isn't particularly high, I have extremely dry skin, yet it applies moisturingly and doesn't emphasize dead skin cells too much, which I really appreciated. I typically don't get acne, but after using this product, I developed so many small blemishes... Even as a teenager, I never had acne, but in my early 20s, using this forced me to stop wearing makeup due to these tiny bumps. I'd recommend it for those with resilient skin, but if you have super sensitive skin like me, you might find acne waiting for you when you remove your makeup in the afternoon after applying foundation in the morning. There's also a slight darkening effect. - ss******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 2, 2025
It smooths out skin texture and sets with a velvety finish. However, it's a bit matte. The coverage is fantastic - it can conceal redness and blemishes with just 1-2 layers, no concealer needed. It applies thinly but adheres well, so it doesn't transfer to masks and doesn't break down easily. Another plus is that it doesn't emphasize pores! When patted with a brush or puff on textured areas like the sides of the nose or cheeks, it fills in beautifully for an incredibly smooth skin finish. It's perfect for important days when you want long-lasting, velvety, and sophisticated-looking skin. Summary: ✓ Highly recommended for those who love a matte skin finish ✓ Excels in coverage, adherence, and longevity ✓ A holy grail foundation that's velvety yet beautifully smooths skin texture ✓ Those with dry skin should prep well with a good base The downside is that due to its matte nature, it may cause some deep dryness, so a hydrating base and moisturizing primer are essential. Also, it sets rather quickly when applied with a puff, so using tools is recommended!
