ConsAfter using it for a few days, I experienced localized redness and itching. I thought it might be due to the onion extract, as it was my first time using a product with this ingredient. However, the ampoule from the same line works well for me, so it's probably not an issue with that ingredient. It's a shame because I like the ampoule, but this toner didn't work out for me.

The pink toner is absolutely gorgeous. I heard it's great for soothing the skin, so I used it as a toner for the first week, then tried it as a mask. It has a nice viscous texture.
ConsUnfortunately, it didn't quite suit my skin. It felt a bit too rich and gave me a slightly itchy sensation, so I couldn't continue using it. What a shame!

The lid needs to be twisted to open. Environmentally friendly feel as you can just remove the sticker and dispose of the container. Texture and application: It's almost a runny, water-like texture. Being a water toner, it's great for using as an exfoliating toner by soaking a cotton pad generously, or for doing a skin pack. I thought it was purely hydrating, but there's a slight oiliness to it. When applied generously with a cotton pad, it glides on smoothly, but doesn't absorb immediately. Tiny droplets remain on the skin surface, giving a slow absorption feel. After applying only this toner with a cotton pad and waiting for about 2 hours, there's still some stickiness left. I think it might make oily skin look even shinier. There seems to be some oil-like ingredient that leaves a slightly sticky and slippery feel. Scent: It's almost fragrance-free. Price: I received it for free through The Hwahae Testers, but if I were to purchase it directly, I think it's a bit pricey for the amount. If you're considering buying it, it might be helpful to look out for discount periods.
ConsIt didn't seem to suit my skin as I felt a bit of itchiness after application. I thought it might just be initial reaction and continued using it for a few days, but I didn't feel any improvement in my skin or any soothing effect. It felt like the oil was just sitting on top while my skin remained dry underneath. I even got some blemishes, so I had to stop using it. My skin doesn't usually react badly to most products, but this toner just doesn't seem to agree with me. It's really disappointing...

I generally have good experiences with Nightingale products, so I was excited to try this one out. - It's a moisturizing toner, so I could apply makeup after using just this without feeling too dry, which was great. - I'm satisfied with the ingredients as they're suitable for blemish-prone skin. - I liked that it's not just a plain water toner, so you can see soothing effects from the toner step itself. - The product's hydrating effect lasts for a long time. It feels like applying a first essence or like the lingering moisture after using a sheet mask.
ConsI have super sensitive skin, so I can usually tell if a product suits me after just a few uses. The Cica Toner caused some itching for me, and a few painful blemishes appeared after use. (I used it 4 times, adding only this toner to my regular skincare routine that I use without any issues.) Since it's a hydrating toner, it made my skin produce oil faster. (My makeup broke down quicker, unfortunately.)
TipRecommended for skin that tends to be dry!

The texture is so watery that if you don't apply it quickly after pouring it into your hand, it'll run right off. I applied to be a Hwahae Tester because my face was feeling dry and I had some blemishes on my forehead. I wanted to use it to soothe my skin, and I was surprised to be chosen! After squeezing some pimples on my forehead and chin, those areas were red and inflamed. When I used this product, I didn't feel any tingling at all, which made me realize just how mild it really is.
ConsHowever, for me, the downsides outweighed the benefits. I didn't mind the watery texture since most toners are like that, but I was disappointed with its soothing effects. Not only did it fail to calm my blemishes, but I started getting itchy, red, rash-like bumps on my cheeks, which had been perfectly clear before. I was using this toner along with another new one I'd bought, and I made the mistake of continuing to use it, thinking 'Surely it can't be because of this...' The redness didn't subside; it actually got worse. Even when I used only this toner without the other new one, the result was the same. I ended up stopping after about 5 days of use. When I went back to just using my usual aloe vera gel and moisturizer, the rash-like bumps miraculously subsided. In conclusion, this Cica toner just didn't work for me, and I won't be using it anymore. Even though I didn't pay for it myself, it still feels like a waste. If you have super sensitive skin, I'd advise you to think twice before purchasing this. The third photo shows my cheek before use, and the first two show my cheek after using the product.
